Cardinals love it! as well as squirrels, chipmunks, doves, anything that likes black sunflower seeds! I recommend it if you are looking for some cardinal food for the season.
Best feed yet, no waste hardly and cardinals , blus Jay's are always in my feeders now! My Best buy lately !

After buying many brands of cardinal blends, I decided to make my own until I tried this one about a month ago. Very clean, no dust & readily accepted in all the feeders we use. Very little waste. Wish it came in a larger bag...Oh well. I can deal with that. So far, it has been in stock which is great! Price is reasonable, too. Will be back for more very soon
The birds love this food! Blue jays, cardinals, red-bellied woodpeckers, downy woodpeckers, mourning doves, titmice, chickadees, finches, and several more types of birds visit all day. They especially love the peanuts! I do wish there were more peanuts. However, I feel there was a fair amount of peanuts for the price. Also, the feed has a pleasant cherry smell. I use the feed in a medium sized feeder with no clogging issues, but the feeder is too small to accommodate the larger birds, such as the jays and woodpeckers, so I scatter the feed on the porch for the larger birds.

Have many Cardinals on my back deck when I put this feed out.
This is a great seed combo and price for cardinals. I would have preferred more safflower seed in it though. I ordered mine via internet with a few other items and this arrived with a hole in the bag which I didn't notice until I removed it from the box and it spilled out on the floor. How can a bag arrive with a hole in in already??
Very good product, needed to mix with another blend to accommodate the smaller birds. Would buy again.
We switched from a cheaper type of feed that the birds really didn't eat. They threw more out than they ate. When we put this in the feeder it was gone in a few hours! It has attracted so many chickadees and nuthatches that they all can't get to the feeder at once. It has also brought in bluejays and other types of birds. Now we just have to figure out how to keep the squirrels out.
