I love this product a life saver! I started breaking out bad after starting a new birth control. And i am not one to break out alot or get mask acne. I tried my normal tricks with no prevail! Someone told me to get this face wash and the retinol serum that helps with acne scaring and redness. And all I have to say is amazing! My acne cleared up so much within 3 days and by the 4th day i was able to cover it with make up with not much notice. And by the 6th day its gone! I would recommend this to anyone
I love this. Literally my skin has been clear for 8 months with this. Now I can't find it!!! Playing it's not discontinued. It's the only thing that has worked in the 16 yrs I have suffered with acne. I do have sensitive skin. So this took some getting use to. It burns a little but works on my oily, sensitive, acne prone skin.
This is literally eve best face wash ever. It's the only one I use now and it has completely changed my skin. I used to have really bad acne and this totally got rid of it in just a few months. There's no fragrance so it's perfect for sensitive skin!
This is a fantastic face wash. I personally prefer the 4% over the 10% because the 4% feels less drying, however I always follow up with the CeraVe PM Moisturizer. And although this is a “foaming” face wash, I find that it does not get very foamy which I actually really like, it's just foamy enough to spread it around your face easily.
I am mostly writing this because I never ever want Cerave to stop making this face wash!! I would cry, it absolutely saved my skin! About a month into the pandemic, my skin began getting extremely irritated and breaking out everywhere but especially along my jaw. I even began getting cystic acne, which I had never gotten before. I was using some random acne face wash and I could tell from the way my skin felt that it was stripping and irritating my skin but I didn't know what to do about it. I was skeptical of this face wash but took a chance and bought it along with the resurfacing retinol serum. BEST DECISION EVER!!! Literally the first time I used the face wash, my skin felt clean but not stripped. Sure enough, new acne stopped forming and within two weeks the old acne was healing. The texture of my skin has improved to better than it's ever been before. I have since gotten the PM lightweight moisturizer, and the SPF lightweight moisturizer and both are perfect for my sensitive, oily skin. I didn't take too many pictures when my skin was bad because I was embarrassed, but hopefully you can tell from these how much it improved. My nose is a little sunburnt in the after pics and I still have some slight scarring from the cystic acne but even that is slowly fading! I'm so thankful for these products, 1000000/10 do recommend!!!
The product itself is well-made, durable, and functions exactly as described in the product listing. I purchased this because I was struggling with really bad acne breakouts around where my mask sits on my face. My skin is super sensitive and has had a real hard time adjusting to wearing a mask for hours on end. Fantastic Product, Highly Recommended.

As someone who has acne vulgaris and dry, sensitive skin, I found cerave's 4% BPO cleanser to be perfect as its great for comedonal + inflammatory acne without causing dryness as it contains hyaluronic acid in its formula. This makes it perfect for daily usage without dryness or irritability.
I was breaking out with little bumps and this wash really helped reduce the frequency. I use it every night and leave it in for about 1 minutes before washing off. It doesn't have a strong scent and work well for reducing oiliness which in turn causes acne. It's a good benzoyl peroxide wash!
It worked very well! BUT if you use it too much or too often it will do the reverse and start giving you acne and dry skin!! When I first got it I was using it every other day to almost every day and that is NOT what you want to do. My skin became dry and started getting inflamed and more zit were popping up before. Use it sparringly because a little bit goes a loooonnng way
