This worked exactly as it said it would! I live in a very sandy area and we have so many dogs around here who suffer from fleas and ticks. I wanted to wait until I used my first box to give a review. So far I've seen NOT one sign of any unwanted guests on my dog or in my home. To those who say it doesn't work, please don't wait until your dog has fleas in order to put this on your dog!!! This is a preventative not a cure. Once the dog, cat or home is infested it's time to seek a professional, either your vet or a local exterminator. Also as per my Vet's advice when I was using frontline and it was not working "Make sure the pet is dry for a full 24 hours before and 24 hours after the treatment has been applied. Otherwise you are not giving it a chance to fully begin working and it will not have the desired effect."
We own three large dogs; a American bulldog, a Great Dane, and a mixed breed. We used to use K9 Advantix or Frontline, which ever was cheaper. We saw the commercial for Pet Armor and I went online to read the reviews. Since it was a pretty new product there weren't many. I was kind of skeptical at first, because every time we've used Frontline it didn't repeal the ticks, but it did kill them. But we switched and we LOVE it. Last month when we used it our dogs had flea, they're inside dogs, and it got rid of EVERY single one. Our Great Dane has a flea and tick allergy and this helps WONDERS.
I've been using this for 2 months now on 2 of my dogs. I live on the coast and the fleas are horrible this year. This product has protected my dogs as well as similar products purchased from the vet for twice as much. I have not found any product that works for an entire month. It is during the last week that I see signs of fleas again. I will purchase this product again and definitely feel it is worth it, plus site to store rocks!
I currently use this on my dogs of all sizes, and all of my 7 little guys continue to be pest free. I have just bought more online will continue to do so. Great value.
just put my 1st dose on my dog and it seems to be working great.
I ended up having to go buy advantage II for my dog, he was still itching after 2 weeks. I also gave this to my other dog 2x and it didn't work well on him either. I recommend paying more for the better kind if you can afford it.
My bernese mountain dog tried this product. Still had fleas 5 days later. He is biteing and chewing all over. much hair is now gone from his once beautiful coat. What can I do now for another 30 days to help him. He is miserable. YOUR PRODUCT DOES NOT WORK!!
used k9 advantix in CT for years with no problems, never saw a flea, then due to shortage of money tried pet armor plus...ended up with fleas, tried frontline the following month, still fleas...back to advantix...no more fleas. when i moved to W.TN a few people told me frontline had been working for them so i tried pet armor plus again (same active ingredients) and im over run with fleas again. Will be going back to K9 Advantix as i have 2 dogs with flea allergies and im sensitive to flea bites myself. its GREAT value for money if frontline (friponil) works in your area...but MANY areas are seeing fleas resistant to friponil.
I have a Golden Ret. and I noticed he had a few fleas. So I looked this product up online, read the reviews. Some are great and some are not so great!!! So I decided to give it a try. I put the solution on my pet and he still has lots of fleas! For some people it is working great and for others not so great. It's pretty much a Gamble. Hopefully it will work for your pet. I took my dog to the vet today for Rx Flea prevention, because this did not work for us. However I called the number on the box and explained it did not work for us, and they are giving me a refund and I am returning the unused portions of the product!!! Doesn't hurt to try it for half the cost =0) Just like medication does not work for all people...Same goes for dogs!!!
For years I've bought Frontline Plus and my senior 125 lb dog has never had fleas. This year I decided to give this a shot and save some money. Instead, all I accomplished was making my dog miserable. I had to go back to Frontline Plus because my dog became INFESTED with fleas. I didn't realize it until I saw one and checked her and in the armpits there must have been hundreds! It's really hard to tell on her because she has a double coat, but the flea dirt was thick enough to feel like scabs. That was nasty! Never again. Never EVER again.
