Generic pet meds - long over due

I'm thrilled that Pet Armor and Walmart have started down the path of providing customers better prices on medications that are off patent. Frontline Plus is a great product but very expensive - now that its patent is over it is time for customers to have a better value. Just like with human generics - in order to make a "compare to" the original claim on it's package, Pet Armor has to be identical in terms of the same active ingredients and efficacy. At 1/2 the price Pet Armor is a fantastic value!

If you read the small print... Pet Armor plus appears to be a "clone" of the flea&tick protection I have been using on my Brittanys for years... same ingredients, same percentages, same protection, WAY cheaper!!! for my money! I see NO reason not to use Pet Armor plus

So I was so weary about using this product because of all the bad reviews saying that it did not work, however, it works amazing! It's only 4 hours after I used it and it's working already!!! I would absolutely use this product again and I would suggest it to others. I also bought some for my cats and that is working as well. So happy I bought this instead of spending over $100 to treat them with the brand name stuff.

I HIGHLY recommend this product. My poor little dogs were scratching themselves to death until this finally arrived. They have not scratched or gnawed on themselves AT ALL since I put the medication on them. I will DEFINITELY purchase this again! Every bit as good as Frontline.....

This product did not work at all. Gave my dogs a bath, dried them and applied the pet armor plus. Did nothing fleas back in two days. The bath killed more than this product did. When I try to call pet armor about the product I am put on hold and then disconnected within 5 minutes. I paid $39.99 and I want my money back.

This is the worst xxxx I have ever used....like others, was looking for cheaper alternative to comfortis and thought my dogs may be getting immune to it...I have 5 dogs have never had a flea on me and 4 sleep with me...one of them is perfect and never needed anything for fleas ,I put this on them all and they have not stopped scratching ,licking and chewing themselves raw..... unreal ,on way to vet tomorrow, cause I can't take them being so miserable,,,they keep me up 24-7,,,never seen this type of reaction to anything before,,,so sad, they r all so miserable ,,,,,don't even try,,,stick with what has worked cause this sure dont

Non-working Product

I tried this product after reading some good reviews. However, I used this product on my dogs and was absolutely disappointed in it's non effective performance! I noticed that my dog was getting fleas, so I reapplied product after two weeks. Two days layer he was infested! This had never happened before with Frontline plus that I normally use. So the next day I picked up my regular Frontline product and the very next morning before I left for work he was almost flea free. By the time I got back from work, I could not find a single flea. One week later, He is still completely flea free but still is healing from all of those flea bites while using the worthless PetAmor junk. I absolutely HATED my experience with PetAmor and would certainly not recommend it to anyone ever. I LOVE my FRONTLINE! It is totally worth every penny!

So maybe me and the others who gave bad reviews got a bad batch or something, who knows, but I'm telling you it does not work. My dogs never get fleas. I give them a dose of Frontline in the early spring, mid summer, and late fall. I saturate my back yard with bug killer granules and spray. It was time for the mid summer dose so I thought I'd give Pet Armor a try because 'it works just like Frontline for less money'. Several days after their dose they started scratching. I noticed one or two fleas on them and gave them a flea bath. Two weeks later I still noticed fleas and scratching. I bathed them again and bombed the house. I patiently waited nearly four weeks until they could handle another dose and bought Frontline from the vet. I'm so sorry dogs! I swear on the Bible that within eight hours of applying Frontline they have stopped scratching themselves. The tubes of Pet Armor have about three times more solution than Frontline and it is more watery. It is not the same, does not work the same and for the cost, I'd rather pay 15$ a tube for the good stuff than 10$ a tube for something that might work and might not.
