The "new and improved" version is "new and reduced". The padding and size has shrunk. The original Assurance surpassed all other incontinence underwear on the market. Now, they are either equal or worse. Too bad!! It was a great product while it lasted.
I was very happy with the old product as it fit well and was comfortable. Now that they changed the cut, they are not comfortable at all. The leg bands fit differently. They are the only brand that fit me around the waist, however. The price is reasonable compaired to other brands.
With the old style it fit comfortably, and, as a plus sized person, I didn't have problems with it rolling under my belly. Now I have them falling off all the time, which is why I never used Depends brand. This is the only brand that I can use due to my size, except for Walgreen's brand and the Walgreen's brand irritates my skin. I am left with being completely uncomfortable either way. I'm sure the women's style works for some women, but not all of us want that style or are comfortable in them.
I bought this product as I had tried others and this brand was not only affordable but comfortable and reliable. The "new and improved" is simply "disappointing and unreliable". I am a large woman and found the fit of this product to be very comfortable and I felt that I would not have a issues with leaking. Now I carry an extra change of clothes as I am afraid that that the underwear will leak and has. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD PRODUCT!!! I also miss the super absorbency now all I can find is the maximum and that just work for me. I have been very disappointed in this product since the changes. "New and Improved" sometimes is not all it is cracked up to be.
These are really poor. Please bring back the old product! This is a band with a pad, like a sumo wrestlers garment. It has no shape to fit around the leg and therefore leaks out the back and front areas. The old ones fit like panties. Also I can only wear the super plus absorbency and they are hard to find. I wear the mens when I cannot find them as they at least are absorbent!! Poor, Poor quality since the "NEW" ones came out!!
I take care of my mother and have used this brand (in Large) since she was diagnosed three years ago. I didn't see the label stating the "new fit" but purchased a large quantity as usual every three months and noticed a big difference immediately. There is much less leakage control and my father has asked me what I purchased as well because taking them off of her is much more of a feat. Also, for the first time she complained about them rubbing her between the legs. I no longer have the receipt so I am already at a significant loss because I will be purchasing a different brand tomorrow. I am very disappointed and wish you hadn't changed anything about the original.
