For people saying that these quads need to be bigger...please remember that you are paying ONE DOLLAR for this product. These are worth a lot more than that, in my opinion. I have had my Silver Lining quad for about four months (and I've used it heavily, because its a wonderful combination of colors), and I am just now seeing the bottom of the highlighter shade compartment. My favorite quads so far are definitely Punk Funk, Silver Lining and Rocker. The neutral quads are nice, but these "funky" colored ones are very beautifully pigmented. The pink, blue and purple in Punk Funk are absolutely wonderful. The blue/gold shade in Teal Dream is one of the most unique shadow colors I have ever seen. This is a great product.
I choose Brownstone. The $1 line tend to seem like trial sizes to me. The colors are pretty but you only get a small amount and they are not offered separately, so if I like one color, I'm stuck buying the whole thing. There is surprisingly a lot of pigment, and I tried to rub them off after my swatch test and they didn't budge!
I absolutely love these little quads. At the moment I almost have all of them. Mostly all of them are really pigmented. I often resort to drugstore brand eyeshadows and with that comes bad quality. Most of the lighter colors in these quads are pigmented, especially the matte white in the quads Drama and Punk Funk. I love the different textures to them, and there is a wide variety with mattes, satins, frosts, etc. They are great for on the go travel, since you can get different looks from each quad.
I use the red shade in the Luxe quad everyday for my brows since it's impossible to find a redhead shade in the drugstore. It's more natural looking thank you'd think! The shimmer doesn't show unless you pack it on & the brown can be used to make it less intense. I've used this for about 5 years (one will last me for about 2-3 months) and it's been thru proms, beaks ups, vacations, weddings, and workouts without becoming a hot mess. Topped off with a brow gel it's pretty sweat proof.
I have this in luxe and day 2 night. They are pigmented and the colors are versatile and you can use for a variety of looks. I find them easily bendable and they will last fine with a primer although you don't need one. Really like these.
I love these eyeshadows! My little 'palette' that I have currently is TEAL DREAMS. I love the white shimmery color, I use it for my inner corner. And the darker gray taupey color is amazing! I line my eyes with Maybelline Eye tattoo in Tough as Taupe and then put the darker color on top and all over my lid and its so pretty! And the blue and green, they are a bit darker than in the picture. The green isn't as minty as it looks, and the blue is more of a straight on blue. I love love using these as lower lashline liners. I just take a small liner brush and swipe them on and they stay on for a long time! Overall these are great eyeshadows that are long-lasting and have really good pigmentation!
Great for on the go. A little to much shimmer, but over all great product
i ordered Pretty n' Pink, Punk Funk, and Nymph Dreams. The colors are beautiful and very pigmented. The best color is brown from Nymph Dreams. You have to get it!! I took out one star because it wears off easily. Also each color has different quality. In the picture, i used eyeshadow primer.
I bought this a few days ago and I am happy with the quality for the cost, but without applying a good primer first, the eye shadow does appear chalky and un-pigmented, as the previous reviews say. I recommend Australis eye primer if you can get your hands on it! Don't bother with the applicator, I'd suggest getting a cheap eyeshadow brush. Hope this helps!
this product is hard to describe because its inconsistent! Some palette colors are great and others are poo! i think the colors are enhanced on the website- whether that is because elf photoshops them or the pigment quality is like i said inconsistent! my best thing to tell you is to go watch video reviews on them just type elf quad review in your search engine and you'll find TONS of videos!
