First time using online order/store pickup. Only delay was due between staffers while I sat looking at my item to be brought to me.
Great for making soups and cooking meat quick. I have cooked frozen chicken brests in mine and it was ready 30/40mins!!! It has allowed us to eat healthy meals. We both work late and we always had a hard time with cooking full meals, but this has made thing so much easier!
Perfect for slow cooking and sautéing it tells you how long it will take and it even keeps the food warm for up to 3 hours after it's done 😊
Well, it works perfectly, the only bad thing is that the back part has something for the water vapor to fall on, which arrived broken and when I cooked the food, water poured out of it.
Wanted an electric cooker to save cooking time and this one does the job! There are three basic modes - sauté, slow cook and pressure cook. Timer setting is flexible. Although sauté mode heats up very fast and then you gotta switch to slow cook mode - an annoying process because I need to turn it off every time to switch modes! The nonstick coating of the pot is not that great as it comes off within 4/5 times of use. Overall - basic electric cooker for a good price that cooks faster but would not recommend if more features or durability is desired. Also this is a huge sized pot %26 ideal for 4-5 servings!
Hopefully when people buy one it will work ok because if you have to deal with customer service all I can say gook luck with it. I had a defective. Pressure cooker it was like pulling teeth getting a replacement . I don't know if I would buy another one from this company again. Very disappointed with the service you have to deal with someone over sea. Not helpful at all.
After using Instapot 1 time the coating on the inside of pot peeled. I notified Instapot 1 month ago and have not been reimbursed for it.
It took a week longer than estimated to deliver. We thought it was lost. It finally came and it was dirty and broken 1/10 don't reccomend Walmart online shopping
I am going to return the product because it came incomplete, essential things such as the power cable and the glass lid were missing, that was my surprise when I opened the box. So I'm returning it today!!!
I bought this to take to Kenya. I brought it over here without unpacking it. I didn't want to compromise the stability of it's good packing. I got it here and opened it up and to my surprise there was no lid for using it as a crockpot! Very disappointed. Now I won't be going home until October 13th, I need to use it while here, I don't want to carry it all the way back home and bring another one back again as space is limited in my suitcase when coming. Now I have to try to get a lid for it and bring it back with me on my next trip over here. Ugh…. It actually looked like it had been opened fore when I got it out. The envelope with the book in it had been torn open.
