[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garnier Fructis Style Pixie Play Crafting Cream is amazing. Great hold without the sticky feeling. Goes on smooth and doesn't flake. It's better than gel! Which is amazing because I hate gel and I very careful of the products I use in my hair. The pixie play crafting cream keep my hair soft all day no hard after hold! I love the fact that it's made with Castor Oil.

A Very Versatile Hair Cream!

Reviewed in the USA on 2018-02-05T16:00:00

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used nearly every Garnier Fructis hair product that's on the shelf today, I was excited to see another hair creme meant for short-hairs, like myself. Usually I sport a medium-length crop, but I've grown it out over the past several months to a layered chin-length pixie-grow-out-special...and boy, are those a doozy to style. I saw that the jar was labeled "pixie play" but I figured I am always game for a "piecey, out of bed look". The jar has the classic Fructis design for space-saving storage. The smell of the creme was a very pleasant, floral-fruity aroma, not noticeable at most an hour after application. Scooping a quarter-sized dollop out of the jar, I rubbed it between my hands for a few seconds to warm it up for even application. It wasn't super-tacky, or super-greasy; it was a nice in-between texture which meant that my hair wouldn't be sticking to my hands as I tried to style it. Application was smooth and easy, and I was able to twist my zillion-layered hairs into something cool and effortlessly messy. Throughout the day, I found that my hair wasn't falling flat or looking messy in a BAD way. I am very pleased that this creme seemed to offer versatility for the pixie crowd AND the post-crop crowd.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried a number of products to help control my pesky baby hairs and nothing seemed to work. This Pixie Play Crafting Cream has helped a ton! Thank you! I love it. My hair looks smooth and shiney with out the stiffness of hairspray and the greasiness of hair balm. I would so recommend this product to other people that share this same issue. Love it!

Great alternative to hair spray

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a short hairstyle that is meant for my bangs to swoop to the side. I usually use hairspray to keep them out of my face during work, but it hardly ever gets the shorter pieces (because I'm afraid I'll get the spray in my eyes). This cream is awesome because it keeps my bangs where they need to be throughout the day! I am excited about this product because not only does it hold but it does not make my hair too stiff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smell of the product was the first thing I noticed when I first tried the Garnier Fructis Pixie Play. It smells absolutely amazing!!! The smell is my favorite thing about this. I could literally smell this all day. When I could pull myself away from smelling this and actually use it I liked the way it it felt, and that is was super easy to use. I felt that using this product was super easy and and spread throughout my hair without and weird clumping or anything. My hair smelled amazing and was super cute after using the product. I have very short hair and would recommend this product to anyone with a pixie cut. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because I have thin fine hair and my hair felt a bit greasy near the end of the day. I have not found a product that does not do this to my hair. I would use this product again for sure and recommend it to my friends.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pixie Play cream is nice! I can either put it in and go or do a blow out and style with it. Smells good and it doesn't leave me hair weighed down like other creams! It keeps my hair the way I like it and if it gets wind blown it's easily fixed ( I purposely drove with my windows down to test this.)

Not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I opened the jar and it was not as solid as I'm use to. Which made me skeptical. While this product helps tame fly away, it's not very good at molding my hair the way I want. I wouldn't use it for a spiky or messy look because it does not give very much texture to the hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Garnier Fructis Style Pixie Play Crafting Cream is solid! It says it is a strong hold cream but i didn't find that to be so. I loved the smell and the consistency, also I liked how it added texture to my hair, I just wish the hold was a bit stronger. The product isn't oily which is a great plus/My hair moves around a lot. If you are looking for an affordable hair putty, look no further!
