Just received these a week or so ago and got my audiologist supplied ones today. The Newear at $42 and the Resound at $4995 ($3999 found on Ebay). The expensive ones have fine adjustments by connection to my cell phone and are a little smaller. Both are rechargeable. The Resound with Lithium Ion and the Newera with NiMh. The Newear batteries if fully charged at night and turned off will still need to more than a hour in the morning to be fully charged again. The Resound I don't know since I haven't had them overnight yet. The difference between them in helping you hear is greater with the Resound because of the fine tuning but not anywhere near $4953 greater even on a good day. In the hours of wearing the Newear over a week I have had some moderate ear irritation and with the Resound after 4 hours this morning I have received one awful headache from them. Neither will cure any hearing loss and both in slightly different ways do nothing more than amplify the sounds around you. The expensive will filter and adjust to noise and tones where the cheap ones may have some noise filtering but not as much and no adjustment except volume. Both will have you hearing sounds you don't want any such as your breathing, paper rustling and all the little sounds you don't need to hear anyway. I would suggest that even if you are recommended to get the expensive one by your audiologist that you get the cheap ones as a reference and then decide. You can usually take the expensive ones back (usually 45 days or more). If you keep both then the cheap ones can be a backup and you haven't lost that much anyway. With some careful searching you can find some that connect with your cell phone for more adjustments in the $300-$800 price range (Web, Ebay, Aliexpress, Walmart etc.). I've only heard of one insurance company covering hearing aids and Medicare won't cover them either.

I appreciate the dact that they text ne when my product was leaving there store, and also text me when it was delivered to my apartment. It was also wraped and protected very well,not just thrown in a box.
the customer service dept was terrific. i had some issues with the ear pieces and they kept replacing them until they worked for me. the charging station stopped working and they immediately sent me a new one. no questions asked. hearing enhancers work great. i can finally hear what people are saying. i would buy any hearing product from them
it was a good set of sound enhancing devices they really helped my wife hear better she is very sound challenged my only complaint is they last around a year with the set .worth the price for a short time fix
Bought these with low expectations. While I'm still getting used to them I do like the sound quality and ease of use. Biggest issue is the charger, its very easy to not have the contacts on the hearing aides connect. Had a a few times where I was greeted to that whine of a dying battery after a night where I thought they were charging. Once I realized this issue and made sur they were charging I have had no issues.
after trying a few others this is really pretty good. However the charging station is a fight every time. There is no way an elderly person could manipulate it.
VERY CHEAPLY MADE. WHEN I PUT THEM IN MY EARS THERE WAS SO MUCH NOISE I WAS AFRAID IT WOULD BURST MY EARDRUMS.
