I loved Dungeons and Dragons as a teenager and we all love Stranger Things at my house so I was really excited to combine the two while reminiscing and introducing my kids to D&D. We all enjoyed it so much! We've already played several times. My kids love it and it just feels so good to connect with them and create such great memories. The box includes everything you need to play, it even comes with two demogorgons - a finished one & one you can paint yourself. The rule book and character sheets make it really easy for a beginner to play, or refresh your memory if you haven't played in years. I really love the character names, I've been playing as Will the Wise. The dice are pretty. Everything is very well made, including the box it comes in. Even if you are a seasoned player this is a great set to have, it fits all skill levels. From the viewpoint of a Stranger Things fan, this is an awesome set that I recommend!
Great game for kids to play together while we are on quarantine.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I were both dabblers in the D&D realm as teens. He is now a regular player. Our entire family is a fan of Stranger Thinge. When we had the opportunity to try a Stranger Things themed D&D, we couldn't pass it up. This is actually a standard D&D starter set, and there are sheets with D&D characters that the Stranger Things main characters played. Very cool!
Very happy with the package. The game was in nice condition and it was packaged nice. Why I do say was that there was a one day delay with my order, but thats the only problem I had with this. This will be a great gift for my sister.
Daughter loves it. She is a teen and just starting dungeons and dragons, this is a good set for her. She loves stranger things and dungeons and dragons so a win win

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a week ago for our family game night and we love it! We are such big fans of Stranger Things so it worth the buy! It comes with two Demogorgon figures one painted and one not. They are a bendable plastic and not flimsy. It also comes with a rulebook, 5 Stranger Things character sheets and six dice. The adventure book is written by Mike Wheeler to take you on a journey through the Upside Down. It is so much fun with my family of four to roleplay through out the game. Such a fun adventure for the kids and they just love it! Excellent starter pack to get you involved with the Dungeons and dragons sets! I would definitely recommend trying it out. So,so much fun!
We bought this to share an old hobby with our children and we love it. It comes ready to go instead of you having to make all the stats yourself. It is a good starter set for someone who has not played before. We love the art work and books in it.
This Starter is much more geared towards learning players than Phandelver was. it is well worth the campaign, minis and dice (seriously love the dice) but it is not as deep or as branching as the Lost Mines of Phandelver was. With that much needed disclaimer made, it is great for learning players and the quality of everything included surpasses that of previous Starter Sets. The dice are beautiful, though it does not include a percentile die (5e doesn't utilize that one) and the figures are better than I expected. The adventure book is actually bound and not just stapled and the entire aesthetic is very pleasing. I am a veteran player and DM and am satisfied with my purchase. This campaign works well as a filler module for a party looking for a simple job or a one night mini shot for when you can't get the party together. 10/10
Really neat set for the beginner D
