My Parrot love's this food, I wouldn't feed him any thing but HARTZ brand.
We have tried many different foods for our Sun Conure, Zazzles. She is very picky and was discarding most pieces of other brands, eating very few of the variety of pieces. Hartz Bonanza has been her favorite. We se much less wasted bits with this great variety.
It seems to be a "hit" with my one parrot, but my other one isn't quite so convinced...?!! A lot of fillers and not enough banana chips or any other dried fruit that they need/want in their diet. * Too many rotting peanuts. Quality control would be applicable here.
I rehomed 2 parrots who had been on this food. Stress bars, poor feather quality and vitamin deficient when I got them to the vet. They are doing much better now on Roudybush pellets and a fruit and vegetable mash.
i bought this food for my cockatoo. she started to eat but after stopped for a while and whole day did not touch any food anymore. My Daughter try to feed the parrot and finally touched her eye accidentally: and shocked ! HOT PEPPERS ARE IN THE FOOD !!! She did not see after for a while and started to cry. My bird did not eat just shivered all day / when i realized this bird food included hot peppers !! what kind of food is it? where is the sign about it is hot??? We had a hard day because i did not it is hot and did not know what to do with my daughter\'s eye - she had pain. Horrible experience !! never again! I am going back to the store and make a complain!!!
