I love this shampoo, it makes my hair very manageable. I have switched to other brands and came right back to Dessert Essence!
My go-to shampoo. Perfect results every time; cleans gently and completely and rinses out easily. My hair is soft, shiny, and gently scented with a subtle tropical mango aroma. As with all the excellent Desert Essence products, the ingredients are natural and well-balanced. Best of all, a little goes a long way, so they last a long time. Thank you for this excellent, lush and indulgent shampoo.
I have long, thick, color treated hair and I usually have to buy expensive hair products to keep it soft and healthy (like Bumble and Bumble) but this stuff really works and is way more inexpensive! It smells so good that I want to eat it and it makes my hair clean and soft. Very pleased with this purchase and this will my new go-to shampoo & conditioner.
This was an excellent shampoo with great lather! It worked very well with gentle cleansing without drying out my hair!
This was the first time I've bought this shampoo. The smell is amazing!! It leaves my hair so soft and smooth. It is a tad thick so it takes awhile to come out of the tube.
I tried this shampoo (and conditioner) after being diagnosed with allergies to chemicals found in most shampoo and conditioners on the market. My scalp was so dry, itchy and flaky! This shampoo and conditioner has been very soothing on my scalp and my hair looks and feels wonderful. I was concerned that the scent would be overwhelming, but it was a light scent that I didn't even notice after I rinsed my hair. I love Desert Essence! Their products prove effective and are economical, and have no harmful chemicals!
I wash my hair daily and Dessert Essence shampoos are the best daily shampoos I've ever used. They smell wonderful, have rich lather, and don't over strip my hair. I won't use anything else. The Island Mango and Red Raspberry are my favorites.
My son has been using Axe for years. His hair would still smell after washing it; probably from all of the nonsense ingredients. After using the mango shampoo his hair now smells clean!
Smells AMAZING, makes my hair feel squeaky clean! You definitely need to use conditioner after you use this because how well it cleans your hair. Will be purchasing again!
Probably good for dry hair types. Does not lather well, consistency closer to a conditioner. Not great for deep cleaning very dirty hair. I could get away with only washing my chest length hair once a week with DE's Coconut Shampoo. Mango is more like 3-4 days. I concur with other reviews that it smells like Grapefruit! Mango scent is pleasant but stronger than Coconut scent, and lingers for two days which can be irritating for sensory sensitive people. Opening in bottle is tiny, therefore annoying additional effort to get enough product out.
