The Ultra Hydrating Johnson's Baby Shampoo is one shampoo I like to use from time to time. It was new on the shelf so I had to check it out. Cleans well. Smells good. Great for Grandma's too!! It makes my hair soft and I like how my hair turns out after braiding or sponge roller use. I like the Hydrating Johnson's Baby Shampoo a lot, wish it came in a pump. Smiles

It also made his scalp soft. Still smells similar to regular baby shampoo. I absolutely loved this and highly recommend, especially to anyone that has a child with hair that tangles easily! Will definitely purchase again.

This ultra hydrating shampoo leaves my baby's hair soft and conditioned. It does not leave it overly conditioned to the point where it feels greasy. I love that the Johnsons brand is tear free and great for kids of all ages.

I am not a big fan of the scent since I have used many of Johnson's products and I love the scent of the regular shampoo and head to toe product. The scent is different on this product as it seems more of a parfum scent.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5 year old daughter opened the package and could not wait to use it. as soon as i opened the product an amazing clean smell came out of the bottle, it was not an over powering smell it was just nice and subtle. it left my children's hair nice and soft very manageable and of course smelling great. i would definitely recommend this product, and im sure i will be buying it as soon as this bottle runs out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo left my child's hair very dry and brittle. Most definitely NOT as it states "Ultra Hydrating" not at ALL!!! It smelled great in use but once her hair was dry it was so brittle and dry and harder to brush because of it being so drying. So I tried it on my hair just to see if using a conditioner with it was any better and it was NOT!!! My hair felt so brittle and dry that I thought it would damage my hair to use a brush on it!!! And that was even with the use of a deep conditioning conditioner. I was very, very, very disappointed in this product. If it was based on the smell along, that was great. Based on it's performance, very, very, very disappointing!!!!
I used this shampoo for the first time about an hour ago and I'm still suffering for it. When I first applied it to my hair, it seemed fine although I immediately noticed that the fragrance was extremely strong and it almost made me feel dizzy. It left a slightly slippery feel and even after using my body wash, I can't remove the overpowering fragrance of this shampoo from my hands. A minute or two after I finished rinsing the shampoo from my hair, I noticed that my scalp was tingling uncomfortably and by the time I stepped out of the shower my scalp was outright burning and itching. It continues to burn and itch now an hour later and it's absolutely awful. I don't know what is in this product that has caused such a reaction on my skin but it was clearly a mistake thinking it would be gentle as I've never had such a terrible reaction to a shampoo as I'm having to this one.
