I was pleasantly surprised when I received this bedding ensemble in the mail, not only did it include the comforter but it also came with two pillow shams and a throw pillow that is already stuffed and ready to toss on the bed. The throw pillow was vacuumed sealed and it really brings the entire look of the set together. The colors are bright and colorful. I love the lace trim on the pillow and the lace look on the comforter and pillow shams that give them a nice embroidered look. The shams tie at the end to keep them on the pillow which is something that I have never seen before. This comforter is a queen but I put it on my king bed and it fits pretty good. It is so soft and comfy. I can tell that this set will last a long time because it is of high quality which I always expect with Pioneer Woman products. I love crawling into bed on these chilly nights and snuggling into this comforter. I want buy another one for the guest bedroom. I would highly recommend this set and all of the Pioneer Woman products to friends and family.
very pretty. i have a queen size bed and the full/queen actually hangs over the edges like it should. very simple, elegant, look. only wish it came in twin size. my granddaughter wants one for her bed now. the lighting in my room makes it look orange. but its def pink
Comforter is of great quality. Washes and dries nicely. Material is not real thin like most comforters, it's just the perfect amount of weight to keep you warm but not too warm. The contrasting shades of blue are very pretty together. Purchased for our guest room which I think was a great choice. Highly recommended!
Beautiful colors, soft fabric and my kitty took two long naps on it the first afternoon (see pic below) it was on the bed. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the pillow shams need a third button for a better fit but I might sew one on myself. Excellent price too. Score 1 for the Pioneer Woman...I usually am not impressed with their merchandise.
This is a beautiful comforter set. Please note that although it looks great … the stitching for the top, middle and bottom layer is not sewn very well. The top layer seems loose and not connected as well as you would think. It truly needs more stitching or quilting to make it stay smooth looking. Otherwise it is awesome!
Beautiful old fashion look. The roses are brilliant and colorful. One of the prettiest comforter sets I've ever owned. I've not washed it so don't know how it holds up. The only drawback, the side with the rose design has little nubs that are rough to the skin. The blue side is very soft. Probably a design flaw. The under side (blue) is very soft and cozy. It's so beautiful I can live with that. Trust me it is well worth the price at $39 and some change if you love this type of design.
Beautiful aqua blue with white lace accents around the edges. The pillow is a flower print which im not crazy about but it matches the set. This is a feminine style that may not suit everyone's taste. But if you're into it you'll love it. I also think it's a more mature style as well, all depends on your taste and decor/theme. What I love most about this set is it's 100% cotton it has a nice feel and thickness to it that feels high quality. I like the Pioneer Woman brand.
I purchased the blooming bouquet in king. It's a good size, because I have a Cal-king, and it fits well. I loved the pattern and vibrant colors! I was disappointed in the fact that it's more like a duvet cover (w/out the ease of removing it, to wash it), and not a comforter. What I mean is, it's not sewn on top like a traditional comforter, so the material slides around a lot. It always looks a little messy because of that, so that's why i have it 3 out of 5 stars. If it was sewn on top and the material wasn't a bit rough, I didn't have to keep smoothing it out throughout the day, I would of given it 5 stars. Also, its not really for sleeping with, it's more for decorating.
The day before yesterday afternoon I received my package and very excited I took it to my bedroom, undressed my bed and started to open the box to take out my new mattress... When I opened the zipper of the transparent bag in which it came, my surprise it was that I saw one of the embroidered butterflies unraveling and around it a small worm!!! He gave me a dread and disgust for not knowing if there were more worms in the quilt so I better just close the zipper and put it back in the box. (I didn't even unfold it) It has been the worst experience I've had opening a package, I really didn't expect to be sent a defective and wormy quilt.
At first it was ok. Washed once and it was a disaster! The stuffing has rolled up inside. The fabric has seemed to melt/fuse to parts of the stuffing. There are patchy parts that have lost color. Some of the stuffing feels hard and crusty inside. The tag melted inside my dryer. It says tumble dry on low, which I did! This is a total was of money! It's pretty to look at as long as you never need to wash it! Such a waste!
