Great for those with a shellfish allergy.

Very good! I am also grateful that it's vegan. Shrimp allergies are no joke, and to find a kimchi that has the right taste without the threat of death has allowed me to enjoy several Korean recipes I have wanted to make. I find the spiciness to be perfect. Not overbearing, but neither is it abysmal.

I absolutely love this stuff. I love garlic and it has a strong garlic taste with a little kick… I feel like this has become a new franks red hot sauce except with this Kimchi I put that Sh** on everything…. lol…

I waited to eat this after leaving it in the fridge for almost a month bc I was trying to finish my previous non-vegan jar, and I have say, my first impression/first bite was very pleasant! I can eat it straight up from the jar, it's that tasty! I enjoy the spice level and mild aroma. Very much enjoyed this as a complement to my fried rice! Will continue to purchase this bc my family is sensitive to strong smells, and this one didn't have it.

Very good flavor and texture. Better than the kimchi I remember while stationed in Korea. Only thing to keep it from 5 stars is the complete lack of any detectable spice to my taste. I add cayenne pepper to give it heat.

I liked the fact that Walmart had Kimchi on their shelves. I was pleasantly surprised. I have been able to purchase ramen in various flavors and brands. I am watching Korean dramas on a streaming service and wanted to try the cuisine that is served there. This brand states that it is authentic, so that's why I purchased this one. I like it better than the sauerkraut, that I grew up with, being of German/Italian decent. Being somewhat spicy, but not really hot. The cabbage is good and a little crunchy. The price was acceptable as well. I purchased chopsticks too, but cannot get the hang of that process. I like to try some of the things from different cultures that I watch. It's fun and helps bridge the differences between cultures.

I ate this cold, with an entree. Not the best kimchi, but it will do when your only choice is supermarket kimchi. It might do better in soup/stew?? It is saltier than most, and ends with a somewhat bitter note. I left the jar to ferment, unopened, for several months. This allows the flavors of kimchi to meld. Note- I do not usually buy/consume vegan kimchi. Maybe this is how most vegan kimchis taste..?

It was crunchy and fresh, but couldn't get past the excess salt. Could have used a little more heat, too. very mild.

Bottle looked fine only thing is i havent tried it yet. When i took the plastic off the outside when i took the top off i seen a little hole in the middle of the inside seal. Im curious if the hole is suppose to be there or not due to there being one of those fresh baggie things under the top also like i said before i took off a plastic that was on the bottle. There isnt a hole through the top neither. So what could it be ????
