I've tried many different styles and brands of magazine files but this product can not be beat for quality, value, and ease of assembly. No waste, no cuts, easy to follow instructions right on the product, clean with loads of labeling space. I am using them right now to organize journals on my library shelves. Great product all around.
I was surprised how sturdy these boxes are! I bought them for oversize brochure storage on display racks. They are easy to fold, stand up without falling over and are made of strong corrugated cardboard. By buying the 12 pack they were half the cost of getting them through an office supply store. My only problem is I wished I had bought more of them at the time. I could also use them for printer paper and card stock beside my printer.
As Director of our Children's Ministry program I'm always looking for ways to help my volunteers be more autonomous. When I decided to reorganize and group my curriculum I was looking for containers that would hold the Curriculum Notebook as well as supplemental materials (DVD's, CD's, Books, etc.). Now, when my volunteer teachers need supplies they can walk right into the curriculum room and pull exactly what they need! It's all in the labeled box. Thank you Banker's Box - one less thing to do!
My partner reads a lot and can't part with the magazines he buys. I'm the organizer! These boxes are terrific for sorting and storing where everything can be easily accessed and browsed any time. Sturdy quality and reasonably priced. Solves the problem nicely.
Using these boxes for classroom organization in my 5th grade math class. They work just fine. The free in store pick up was available 3 days earlier than expected.
Hard to rate a cardboard box. It does what it is supposed to do...holds magazines in an organized manner that preserves them for future reference. They are a bit pricey, but Walmart carries them as cost effectively as anyone.
Great for daily use as student book boxes in the classroom. I use them for the students to store their reading books for (Daily 5) They can also store their writing journals too. This helps keep the books from getting lost in their desks and kept in good shape. I love them. I only thing is i wish they were made from a heavier cardboard.
I purchase the Magazine File Box - letter, each year for classroom use. I teach multiple grades so my students do not use the inside of their desks. Their reading books and folders fit inside the boxes. Some years, I can reuse some of the boxes. Other years, I have to replace them. It depends upon how the students packs the box and also carries the box. The boxes are durable. It is helpful to reinforce them with packing tape around the edges to really make sure they last to hold classroom supplies.
My family on my father's side has always been avid readers. I have magazine and book collections dating back from the 1970s, and many of them reside in Bankers Box storage units. Sturdy,functional, and lasting through the years. When I needed to store my recently collected magazines, I turned to Bankers Box to maintain shelf order only to be highly disappointed in the quality of the cardboard used in the construction of the Bankers Box Magazine File Holders, Letter, 12 Pack (07223). The material is thin, and flimsy, the bottom closure has barely enough material to come together. Not at all what I was expecting from Bankers Box--"Premium magazine file with glued side panels for heavy duty use" Disappointing.
I ordered this item twice and both times walmart sent a single file instead of the carton of 12. Also, the price changed radically within a week. Walmart was very slow to process my refund. I'm not ordering anything from walmart again.
