My rating is for the Light Tint, which has been discontinued :-( Prior to the Healthy Defense Light Tint moisturizer, Neutrogena had a sheer tint moisturizer, which was also discontinued. When the light tint came out, I was beyond pleasantly surprised with this product. It's almost 30 years I've been using sheer/light tint and now...it's gone!!! I bought every last tube I could find and have one tube left. There is no other product that compares to this. I'm now 51 and get compliments on my skin all of the time. No foundation, just this light tint moisturizer. It was the most AMAZING product and I am at a loss that it's been discontinued. My partner uses it too, since he had a cancer treatment on his face. He loves that it blends his skin like a moisturizer. I had him try all of the others since I don't want to part with what's left of my light tint, but he insists on using it since it's the best product he's tried. The others make him look like he's wearing a makeup mask. Here's to hoping enough people beg to bring it back, even for a limited time - so we can buy a lifetime supply!!
Why is this product discontinued? I've been using this product for many years. It looks great & it doesn't disagree with my skin by breaking it out. Since the moisturizer is discontinued I tried the BB stuff. I used it once & my skin broke out. So I will be looking for another moisturizer with light tint.
Loved this moisturizer! After searching unsuccessfully every store for the Healthy Defense with light tint, I finally tried the NEUTROGENA BB cream recommended as a replacement. I have to admit I am not a big fan of that one. After several uses I started breaking out. Now I am back on my search for the right moisturizer with tint. Please bring back the Healthy Defense with light tint!!!!!
I have been using Healthy Defense Moisturizer for more than a decade. It was originally recommended by a dermatologist who believed that spending a small fortune on department store skincare was a waste of money. It's lightweight, fragrance free, and works beautifully under makeup.
Over 70 and have a little sun damage (shading) so this helps even my skin tone. Have allergies & rosacea and this product doesn't irritate, is light, and serves well as the only "makeup" I use all year. The 'fragrance free' is a must, so I can't use many of your other products. Today I looked in several stores and could not find with the light tint! OK... buy it online.... not here either! I feel the product is/was quite pricy even though it is a good product. Shouldn't be any higher than your other moisturizers w/sunscreen! (I also like the older "oval" shape tube top... easier to use all product and didn't clog.) HELP!!! Where is my fragrance free moisturizer/sunscreen/makeup?? and why is it so expensive for such a small tube?
Perfect for summer heat instead of thick foundation. Light natural look.
This product both protected with SPF 30 while it's the only base color I need to wear. Everyday when I apply, it just brightens up my face before I apply blush. I'm ready to go for the day. For my this is two products in one when I use the light tint.
Very light tint gives you a little springtime glow.
I have been using this product for many years. I love it! Please don't discontinue it! It contains SPF 30 and that is very important to me! My skin feels very clean after I apply it. Soft and moisturized and not greasy. I even put it on my hands with the SPF 30 to moisturize and protect them from the sun with the SPF 30.
I have been using the lightly tinted version of this sunscreen for years! I use it twice a day! I am so disappointed it is discontinued. I really hope you bring it back so I don't have to switch brands. I have 2 teenage daughters that use it too! I tried the new tinted BB cream and it is too thick and makes my skin dry! I don't like it at all.
