When I get the urge to light up i pop one of these in my mouth instead and it curves the cravings. You simply take one pill & let it dissolve in your mouth. I definitely recommend you move the lozenge around as it dissolves don't let dissolve in one spot. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been fighting my war against NICOTINE since I was 15, I'm 51 now! But I'm NOT GIVING UP!! My sons told me about this product prior to me having to take a LONG FLIGHT & my worry over NICOTINE WITHDRAWALS. I had tried other types of stop smoking aids like the patches and did NOT like them or find them very successful. With these Equate lozenges it's been a sad disappointment in not ONLY them but more so in MYSELF that I FAILED once AGAIN at QUITTING. I just could NOT take the flavor of these ..they were NOT so bad the first 2 minutes..after that's when the flavor WORSENED to UNBEARABLE for me and I was spitting them out on the long flight and dealing with my withdrawal symptoms by annoying the person beside me for 3 hrs. Unfortunately, though I did try them SEVERAL more times, I didn't get any RELIEF of my WITHDRAWL SYMPTOMS in that time period, because I don't BELEIVE I had left them in my mouth long enough. For MYSELF, past PTSD TRAUMA, anxiety, & just the constant habit of wanting to reach for a smoke..is the WORST about smoking to KICK! I DEFINITELY FEEL..this DOSAGE was way TOO LOW for me since I smoke 2 packs a day. So making sure you get the right DOSAGE IS VITAL to your success! I definitely am NOT GIVING UP THE FIGHT YET!
