I bought this product over a year and a half ago and it sat in my linen closet up until a few months ago when I ran out of my usual deodorant. I started using it and fell in love with it. I have had laser hair removal under my arms and usually have to go in for touch ups about every six months. I noticed that the hair that was starting to grow in just completely vanished and I didnt put two and two together until I read the description for visibly smooth. I had only bought the clinical protection because Im an avid gym goer, up to 5 days a week and I need a strong deodorant. This works great for me and keeps me smelling fresh with a light scent thats not too overpowering. I dont want to go back the brand I was using before. Now I have run out of the product and cant find it anywhere. Please dont discontinue!
I have a problem with both moisture and extremely noticeable odor. After being told by my close family members one too many times, I decided to try this from Dove. I've been using it for several weeks with NO problems! While my underarm hair is a little less noticeable, it definitely feels much softer and I am able to easily go without shaving since it is not uncomfortable. In addition, this problem has worked wonders when shaving. I used to have excruciating problems with razor bumps and whatnot, but no more! I can wear tanks again. Thanks Dove. :)
I've used Secret for a long time. Last time I switched, I got Degree, and I had an allergic reaction to it. I had to be persuaded to try a different deodorant, and I'm glad I did. It doesn't completely stop my hair growth, but it's way slower coming in. The hair seems to be easier to shave, and it's the smoothest underarm shave I've ever gotten. It glides on, and the rose scent fades very quickly. As for wetness and odor, it doesn't get any better than this. I had noticed that Secret was not working in the later afternoons, but this clinical strength gives much better protection. You can even skip a day! I've noticed that this is getting harder to find in stores. I hope that Dove is not discontinuing this! This is the holy grail of deodorants for me. Please never stop making it!
I have been using Dove Clinical Strength for well over a year. I put it on before bed every night and it keeps me dry and fresh all day the next day no matter what activities I participate in. I have tried several other name brands and been VERY disappointed by the competition. I always return to my trusty Dove Clinical. Maybe it's the trick of using it before bed...I heard that really works well so I tried it. I'm here to tell you it does!
I have tried so many deodorant out there and none of them kept my underarms dry the way and still smelling good at the end of the day the Visibly Smooth Deodorant did and now I cannot find it anywhere!!! Now I have to start all over and possibly wasting money to finding a deodorant that works just as awesome as the Visibly Smooth. DOVE PLEASE BRING THIS DEODORANT BACK ON THE SHELF!!
I have tried other clinical deodorants and none worked as good as Dove. I can work hard and not have to worry about sweat or smell. It is more than I like to spend, but it has become worth it, I won't use any other kind. I put it on before I go to bed and am good all day.
I have been using this product for about 3 weeks and have noticed that I shave only once a week (vs. 3X week) and the hair is much softer - razor bumps gone! It works as well a the other clinical strength brands especially if applied at night. However, I am sensitive to fragrance and wonder if this will even be made in an unscented formula? Also, if the Pro-Epil is working so nicely in the pits, can we expect to see this in regular body lotion products? I'd love to shave my legs less!
I was using another brand of clinical strength and it works similar except for the bonus of the "Visibly Smooth" - that truly worked well. The only thing is, the scent is too strong and over powers at a business meeting which has been embarrassing and distracting. Please bring on an unscented version of Visibly Smooth :) I will come back to the product then.
This product claims to minimize the appearance of hair, but I didn't notice any difference. As for underarm wetness, still an issue. haha. It smells nice, but isn't worth the price.
I recently tried another brand's clinical strength formula and was really impressed. So when I ran out of that, I thought I would try Dove because they usually have such nice products. Well unfortunately I will be returning this one because it doesn't work. I put on a brand new outfit today and halfway through my day I had to change because I smelled so bad. I'm pretty annoyed considering it was so expensive, I hope it is easy to get my money back.
