I have been waiting for an SPF cream like this and 100Percentpure got it right! The tomato Lycompene ingredient is part of what I have been looking for in a sun care product. The physical block that goes on without being sticky or greasy the other part. 100percentpure knocked it out of the park and I will purchase this as long as it's available!
I bought this item to provide sun screen on days when I otherwise don't have an SPF products on my face. It does go on white, but absorbs and dries clear. The container is small, but a little bit goes a long way. I also feel like it helps my skin in other ways, not just as a sun screen.
Before this I was using the green tea moisturizer, which has since been discontinued. I loved that moisturizer, but it didn't have SPF, so I bought the green tea moisturizer with SPF and it was sticky and took awhile to soak in so I was left with a white lotion face. The tomato lycopene moisturizer is the best of both worlds. It is moisturizing and lightweight and has SPF. It also dries fast and doesn't leave a film behind like some SPFs. On the bottle it says to use much more than you actually need. I guess if you're out in the sun for awhile, you may need more, but for everyday, you really don't need as much as the bottle says. I definitely will buy again.
So I used this moisturizer and stocked up before it was discontinued and brought out, reformulated, with SPF. It was amazing before and is even better now with SPF. It does provide a hint of white cast so keep that in mind. This doesn't affect me so much because I'm pretty fair skinned (Alpine Rose). But I assume on tanner skin it could be an issue. It's a great moisturizer that gives my skin what it needs, now including protection from the harsh rays of the sun. Will continue to purchase.
This applied very easily. It didn't have that dry tacky feeling like most sunscreens. It did well under my 2nd skin foundation. Before I used it on my face I did a patch test on my arm first with using my foundation to make sure it did not get the white little clumpy specs and it did not. I am very happy with it. Since my dad had skin cancer I find it very important to protect your skin. Great job on this!
I bought this for my husband who works out in the sun all day and we can't handle that scented stuff. So far we are happy with this because it has such a light scent that we are able to use it, and that's huge for us. It seemed a little pricey, but I find that most things that are health related are more costly unfortunately, unless you make them yourself.
When applying to an adult (me), easy to apply and seemed to do its job when walking around in and out of sun and dappled shade all day (reapplying every few hours). When applied to a toddler, it takes too much massaging to make it near-invisible so when applying to a wiggler, it dried/caked/flaked on the skin before I could rub it in completely.
This isn't my favorite moisturizer, but it is the best SPF-moisturizer I've found, hands down. It does feel like/smell like sunscreen, and it's grest for no-make up days. It actually moisturizes without the tacky and sticky feeling of most sunscreens or SPF “day creams”. My make up glides over it easily, and it doesn't look greasy. I'm lookijg forward to trying other 100% Pure moisturizers, but will definitely keep this one in my arsenal.
Just way too sticky and tacky when applying. I even tried to blend with a little foundation so I wouldn't look like a ghost but it's just not a good product for me. Way overpriced for such a small amount too. Not crazy about the packaging. I had high hope's for such great ingredients. Maybe more lab testing and reformulating needed?
I was really excited to see this product come out, but was sadly very disappointed with it. Since I use the PM serum, I've been looking for the perfect daytime moisturizer that has SPF protection; so far, I've just had to mix some sunscreen in with my moisturizer, so I was hoping this could become my all-in-one solution. Sadly, the product does not go on smoothly. It's chalky and leaves my skin very white. When I try to blend it in more, it becomes flaky. I did try combining it with another moisturizer and it worked ok that way, but that defeats the purpose for me, especially for the price. Can't recommend this one, but hope to see other SPF moisturizers come out of 100 Percent Pure in the future.
