I really love this coat. It is a two in one coat. You can take out the heavy jacket inside and have two coats. The inside is a thick jacket, with pockets and is very warm. The outer coat is a little lighter weight, but still warm. It has a hood that is removable. If it's very cold you can put them together and everything snaps together. It is a great value. It is very comfortable and I really received two coats for one price.
This is the warmest coat I have ever owned; I was toasty-warm in a north Kansas wind with a windchill of -5 degrees. The hood isn't lined but blocked the wind. On a more pleasant day I removed the liner and this jacket's ability to block a cool wind is nothing short of amazing. I haven't worn the quilted liner alone but even it has pockets big enough for a pair of gloves. It is stylish, is long enough to sit on, and the colors are vibrant.
I have only had this coat for a few days but I love it!! I work Nights and sometimes I go outside when it is cold!! The only thing that got cold was my hands and my nose!! I just wish Wal-mart would have had more colors in the store!! But I still love it!!
The jacket is perfect. The jacket is true to size and the color is the same as shown on the internet. And the jacket is very warm and it's like a ski jacket. The service of walmart .com sending the coat out and getting it in 3 days was amazing. I always shop at walmart every week.
I bought this jacket for $23.00 dollars and it's great. I wore it in the snow and it kept me real warm. I would highly recommend this jacket. Great price too.
I ordered this for my daughter, who dislikes tight clothing. I ordered it 2 sizes too big...and it was still small. When ordering the set, which includes gloves...remember they are not to size. I had to send everything back and get the next size up which is fine.
Very nice jacket except for the insert. I had to take it out because it was too tight around the shoulders and arms and with that out, the jacket itself is very large on me.
I was so excited to get this jacket. I really wanted/needed a rain jacket and something that would not let the wind in (I only had a hoodie sweater or down winter coat, nothing in between). The value of this jacket was absolutely amazing. I would have paid the full price, but managed to get it half off! Which I am glad I only paid half price, otherwise I probably would have definitely returned it. My biggest problem is the material is not very breathable. With either the the liner or the outer shell. It works great outdoors, but the second you are inside it becomes an oven. I was also hoping for a very light weight outer liner (I live in Texas and wanted something very light) but the outer shell has a bit of padding adding extra warmth. Which is great if you live up north...... The sizing for the inner liner ran small, so I had to return it and buy a size up. It does make outer jacket a bit big when worn by itself, but I can live with it. My last issue is with the hood. There is no elastic or drawstring so with the slightest bit of wind the hood is blowing off. Not what I want in a rain jacket, the whole purpose is so I could be hands free - which is not happening with this rain jacket. The one thing I do like is that the fleece material on the inner liner runs through the sleeves. I hate putting on a coat that is cold to touch (or I feel like I have to wear a sweater before putting it on) so this is great for me to wear short sleeves with and feel cozy when putting it on. Overall when you look at the price compared to other outdoor brands, you cannot beat the value. Just know you get what you pay for.
A great double layer coat for cold winter wear. Runs a size small if you are going to wear the fleece liner and the waterproof layers together. I am a size 3x. I ordered this coat and it was too tight through the chest. Had to return it, but it was a nice coat for the $23.00 price!
Had great expectations and overall the coat is great and the fit of the outer shell is good. The problem is in the fit of the sleeves of the inner coat/lining. It is far too tight even with just a light long sleeved t-shirt on. I will look in store to see if this is common on all the coats or just a fluke on this one particular item. Would really like to be able to have this item but if I can't wear the liner there is no sense in keeping the item. I will be returning this item.
