This is literally my deodorant forever. Before this product, i would sometimes get razor burn so bad (from shaving normally in the shower) that i would develop small abscesses in my armpits. I completely stopped getting razor burn as soon as i started using this. When i'm in a rush, I can DRY shave, put my deodorant on and wont even see slight signs of razor burn. I absolutely love it.
I've been using Dove deodorant for a few years now after I stopped using Secret because it was too messy and my armpits were really dried out. I was using the go fresh line for a while, but my underarms were still really dry and scaly which was pretty embarassing. I bought this and was disappointed because I couldn't get the go fresh Revive (which smells amazing so I forgave it making me scaly) and I was pleasantly surprised that after using it for a few weeks my underarms stopped being scaly and unhappy. I've gone through two sticks of this and I'm pretty happy that my underarms aren't scaly anymore.
Pros: -smells good -smooth to put on -protects all day Cons: -leaves white stains on clothing as all the other deodorants
I used to use Secret but it irritated my underarms so much and the scent was always a bit too strong. Not so with this! This doesn't irritate them at all even when I apply it right after shaving. I was originally going to buy the beauty finish scent (the one with the pink cap) but then I smelled the nourished beauty. It has a creamy powder scent that I love. As far as protection goes, I reapply once or twice a day just to freshen up but I don't know how it will do in the spring and summer months but so far I'm not sweating a whole lot. As far as the sleeveless claim, I haven't noticed a difference. I would definitely buy this again and even try the other two scents in the go sleeveless line.
I switched from my regular deodorant brand to try Dove. I am extremely dissatisfied. I work in an office, not a lot of physical work, and this product failed to keep me dry or smelling fresh. I feel like I just bought armpit lotion as that is all this product is useful for. The 48 hr protection is closer to 48 mins. Don't waste you money on this one!!
I used this product exclusively for a year. The smell was mild and pleasant. However, I noticed you changed the fragrance very recently and now it is flowery and acrid smelling. Very disappointing. Now I have to again go on a quest to find a decent, non-flowery-smelling deodorant. :(:(
I used to love this deodorant, but then they changed the scent! It used to just smell clean, which I loved. Now it smells like a bad perfume! What a disappointment, Bring back the old scent!!
Didn't really like this. Didn't really keep me smelling good. I don't do anything but sit in a chair at a computer all day so it really didn't have to work that hard to help me out. But I don't think I'll be buying it again.
I've been using Dove gosleeveless since it was a new product a couple years ago and I've loved the very mild scent this particular deodorant HAD. I just bought a new stick and the smell is strong and AWFUL. I'm so extremely disappointed. I loved the other mild scent of this specific deodorant. This new scent is utterly overwhelming - smells like flowers and fruit gone bad and then made into a perfume - bitter and sharp. UGH. This product HAD the only scent in the Dove line of deodorants that I liked and it worked so well too. Now with the new scent I'm going to have to move on to a new brand. This smells terrible. Who wants to walk around smelling like a deodorant stick? And the new scent doesn't mesh at all with my sandalwood perfume oil. I can't wait to shower it off and throw this new scent away. I'd rather go without than use this.
I will start off by saying I only use Dove deoterants. I just find every other brand to not live up to them. I have been using the Visibly Smooth Wild Rose Anti-Perspirant Deoterant for a long time now and I LOVE it. They were out of it at the store so I got this one instead. The smell is OVERWHELMING. I could smell it very strongly from the moment I put it on in the morning to the moment I showered that night, it even over powered my perfumed. I was not pleased. I do not want to smell like deoterant and not my perfume all day.
