I received a bar of Tom's natural deodorant soap free through the Spark Reviewer Program. I wasn't familiar with Tom's Of Maine products and am kind of leery of 'natural" things. The all natural beauty bar has sage to fight odors and is also clinically proven to maintain skin's moisture. Generous 4 oz. bar, shaped for easy handling. Creamy natural color. It has a nice fresh fragrance, not floral. The soap really lathers nicely and feels very creamy on your skin. As a deodorant soap, I think it works very well. Not only do you smell clean, you feel clean. My skin wasn't dry feeling at all. It felt soft after drying off. I will definitely buy Tom's deodorant soap for my family to use.
The first time I used this I knew I was a fan. It lathers up quickly, long lasting coverage, smells nice without being overpowering and best of all my old lady skin felt smooth and silky. I used it in the shower and it did not make the tub slippery like some moisturizing soaps can. Hours later I still felt fresh and clean without feeling like I needed to apply lotion. I live in the dry desert and finding a soap that makes your skin feel soft is hard to find. This soap is also a deodorant bar as well as a beauty bar. This is my new soap. I wonder what other kinds of soap Tom's make.
Tom's of Maine is a natural beauty bar that will refresh your skin and maintain its moisture. It is a dual action beauty bar that will give you 24 hours against wetness. It is an animal free product that has natural powder,no artificial color,no synthetic ingredients,no preservatives,moisturizing Olive Oyl, odor fighting sage extract,lemon grass and many more kosher ingredients. This soap is milled four times for premium quality. It does not take much to provide you with a rich lather,so that you can get the clean and freshness that you desire. I love the way that it smells and gets you clean. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. I will be buying more of this product in the near future.
I received this product free from Walmart Spark Reviewer in exchange for my honest opinion. This soap is wonderful! It is all natural which I love. There are no added dyes or added fragrance. It lathers very well and feels very smooth. The scent is just a nice, natural smell. I notice even hours later that my skin has a fresh smell to it. As far as this being a deodorant soap, it does work very well. I also like that the shape is rounded and slightly curved, so it fits my hand. Overall, another great Tom's Of Maine product.
This soap really works. My boyfriend sweats a lot at work since he's a mechanic and when he comes home, he smells bad. I let home try it one day and he was amazed by this soap. He said he smells great long enough until before he takes his second shower at night. The smell is very organic and clean. It seems very pure ingredient-wise. He said this is the soap he's gonna use from now on.
Have had good experiences with toms products. They smell nice and don't break me out. Enjoy using this soap..I feel very clean afterward. Great smelling, aroma, long lasting. Consistent quality product. Excellent service and pricing. I liked it very much and will probably buy more of it in the future. My wife is very picky about everything! This soap, she says, is awesome and she rarely likes any of my previous bar soaps. The soap also left my skin really soft which is difficult because I have very dry skin. Besides dry skin I break out in red splotches after using this product I had no red splotches.
Today I tried for the first time Tom's of Maine Natural deodorant soap, I have a skin condition which has been diagnosed by my dermatologist as extra sensitive skin. I can not use any soap with extra strong scent or any soap without natural ingredients because I break out with a rash and this causes itching and redness. So I was edge to try something that would not cause these problems to occur. When i got into the shower I was apprehensive to try this new product, But the Scent which this soap has is fresh and clean, but not overpowering. The lather is good but not to soapy, after my shower I noticed that my rash was not inflamed or itchy as I thought it might be. After drying myself off I reexamined My hands where the rash is the most notable, and again my skin was not irritated or any increase in redness. My recommendation is extremely POSITIVE, with the delicate nature of my skin condition and fact that I see improvement in my hands & body, I would definitely recommend this Soap to anyone who has a temperamental skin condition, and It is a great value because you don't need a lot of this soap to clean yourself. Great JOB Tom's of Maine!
I love the feel of Tom's of Maine soaps. They are smooth and very soft . All the different types feel the same but have differant functions. The TOM's of MAINE DEODORANT BAR keeps you fresh , has a very clean smell. Both men and woman can use the deodorant bar and ladies will not smell manly as some of the deodorant soaps do. Tom's of Maine deodorant bar also has been proven to maintain skins moisture , so it is like getting a two for one in the same bar, another good reason the ladies will like it. I like that there is NO ANIMAL TESTING. IF YOU GO TO TOM's of Maine website you can get all the information about their products including Tom's Deodorant Bar . They do not add artificial color, flavor, fragrances or preservatives and Tom's of Maine also recycle The Deodorant bar also contains sage extract , olive oil, jojoba seed oil, along with vitamin E and other ingredients I am now a fan of Tom's of Maine beauty bar.
I was happy to try Tom's Of Maine Deodorant Soap with Sage after using Dial deodorant soap for so many years with no problems. When you first open up the package the bar is sealed in plastic which is nice then when you open it up and the Great Scent hits you! The first two days I really liked the way it lathered and left you feeling clean with a fresh scent, but after the 4th day I noticed that my forehead started to get little bumps all across it. I'm over 55 so I know it wasn't a acne "break out" but had to be something different. After 5 days of use I noticed that the side of my face by my eyes was starting to get rough, dry and flaky which has never happened before either and I had some light red spots on other parts of my body that I have never had before. My only conclusion was using the new Tom's soap. I'm not saying Tom's is a bad products but it seems that one of the ingredients in it must irritate my skin. I love the scent but it's just not for me. I have since started using Dove for Men and have found that the "irritated" spots on my forehead have since started to disappear. Tom's Deodorant soap may work great for you, it has a wonderful scent and looked to be a long lasting solid bar, you may want to give it a try.

This isn't my favorite soap but I am spoiled from getting handcrafted soap at my local farmers market. This soaps leaves me desiring a lot of things One thing it lacks its moisturizing qualities. I found this soap really dried my hands out. I think a good soap should also leave your hands feeling nice, not dry. I did have a very nice leather and it also smells nice.
