wonderful product for every member of the family [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have been slowly changing over from store bought cleaning and health products to DIY products that do not have added chemicals and preservatives. I am very happy with the Dr Woods Castile soap and have used it in a general purpose kitchen cleaner, a face wash and homemade baby wipes.
I purchased this product at the same time I purchased Dr Woods Peppermint Castile liquid soap I haven't used the unscented soap yet. I have used another Dr Woods liquid Castile soap and wasn't disappointed.
I use it as a body wash, gentle cleanser, no strong odors.
I recommend this item it's really good and very soft toy my hair and skin
My daughter has a genetically inherited skin condition that makes her skin overly sensitive. Since she was born I have looked for a soap that would not make her break out in hives and severly itchy skin. I bought Dr. Woods Baby soap and it has worked spectacularly for her. She doesn't itch and breakout in hives. I will continue to order it for as long as Dr. Woods sells it. Thank you Dr. Woods company!
Diluted with water, this soap quickly makes bathroom shower tile gleam and retards mold growth better than any other product I've tried. Kitchen floor sparkles with minimal scrubbing and rinsing. No offensive fragrance to aggravate allergies. No need to use rubber gloves.
I had meant to get Dr. Bronner's and missed the peppermint scent. However this is just as mild, can even use it for eye makeup removal. I put some in a "foamy soap" container to wash hands, works fine, no "anti bacteria chemicals" to worry about, and is very gentle on the hands.
I purchased this item to use as the base of a homemade laundry soap that would be safe for our new baby. When it arrived the packaging or label was completely different than the picture shows but I thought no big deal. I opened and without smelling poured it into the mixture (my fault, should have smelled it first). IT SMELLS AWFUL. so bad. I was actually gagging and threw out the entire mixture I made with it. A total waste of money. I had to scrub everything it touched to get the smell out and it "settled" into my hands where it touched my skin. I would never want something that smells so horrible and harsh on my child's skin. I would not recommend this product.
I do not like this product. It is too expensive and it does have an unpleasant scent. It is also very drying to the skin. It is not what I expected.
