My dog has been this type of dog food for over a year. It helps his coat and keeps his coat shinier than most dog foods out there. Causes not itch skin.. and he always smells good. love this brand of dog food.
Our AmBully, Kalli is 9 1/2 years old and has had bone cancer in her back leg for 3 years now. While she is on good pain meds and is happy she doesn't always eat enough. we have had her on the Salmon and Pea recipe for years now for her joints, but lately she had been loosing weight and not eating enough. We were starting to see her hip bones a little and were talking to the vet about wondering if it was going to be time soon to say goodbye. Out of hope that we could avoid that I decided to see if having a new food choice would help and choose this one for the high protein. She absolutely loves it. We fill her bowl half/half with both foods and she inhales this new food first every time. Not only has she put the weight back on that she lost but she is getting muscle back in her front end that I haven't seen in at least a year! I plan on still giving her the Salmon and Pea for her joints I am adding this one and thinking about trying the Lamb and Fava Bean as well for her for some variety. She is acting like a puppy again, and is back to wanting her wheelchair to go on walks daily like we used to. Then laying out in the sun at the park. We are very happy with this food, all of it, keeps her coat nice, shiny and soft.
I've been buying this for my Shiba Inu(20 Lbs.) for five years now and she likes it. It keeps her active and she never over-eats so, it's really all she needs. The 25 lb. bag lasts about 1.5-2 months. The ingredient list is great!
Seems to be A healthier choice and bonus my dogs seem to actually like it. We've tried a couple healthy foods and just like kids my dogs weren't really into them but they seem to like this one. Nicely priced as well.

My dog loves the flavor along with the salmon.
I am very picky when it comes to my dog. I try to make sure he eats healthy. Before finding and trying Pure Balance Wild and Free, I was feeding him another high quality brand and spending upwards of 60 to 70 dollars for a 22-24 pound bag. While I do think that it's worth it, I wanted to search for another food that would provide my dog with quality food and the proper nutrition at a lower price. I wouldn't sacrifice quality for a lower cost. If it didn't meet my standards, I wouldn't even try it. However, if I can save a few dollars and the quality is supurb then why not? I researched the ingredients, nutrients, and also went on dogfoodadvisor for ratings. Of course I was a little hesitant to transition since he's been fed the same brand for 6 years. But he loves it. He's a happy, healthy dog! That saves close to 20 bucks per month too. I'm also glad they have a satisfaction guarantee. I highly recommend Pure Balance Wild and Free to anyone searching for a high quality food at a low price. My dog is at a healthy weight, clear eyes, shiny fur, great teeth, and happy!
Our dogs love this brand
We noticed our 2 pitbulls loved this immediately after receiving it at the door. This love continued upon feeding times. No more finicky, picky eaters at the bowl. The next thing we noticed after just a few feedings was the silky, shiny coats returned. Their scratching was reduced, as well. Their new favorite was the Pure Balance Wild and Free Grass-Fed Beef and Wild Boar Recipe. Their Mealtime has been reduced, to literally, a few minutes to "INHALE" their food... Then, get a hearty drink. They are ecstatic. the 2-year old wants to eat all day...LOL, AND...her 6-year old mother acts like a puppy!!!! We can't believe that their other food was so inferior. We had thought we were feeding them healthy food, but after the energy levels went up, their coats renewed, and their appetites changed... We now know the other food was insufficient. We give Pure Balance 2 PAWS UP!!!!!
