I thought the description was a bit misleading. It did say owed l pound somewhere but the picture shows larger bags as well as shipping weight showed 18 pounds. The scent is so minimal that you should just get plain epson salt which you can usually get for .75 a pound. It did relieve pain but regular does it as well.
