I ordered these towels in the chocolate brown which are indeed a chocolate brown. I also ordered the "red" which is actually a great purple/plum color. They are very thick and soft. Just a suggestion, wash these towels by themselves first. They shed a lot the first wash!
Couldn't find anything close in the quality/size for this price. We bought 12 and then bought some more after receiving them and seeing that the price went down even further to $6 each for a 35x68 towel. Soft and absorbent they did shed quite a bit during the first washing but didn't lose their appearance or feel. They could be almost too big if you are a shorter individual. being 35" wide. We tried to order some of the $10 3-piece sets but they were almost all gone in our chosen colors.
I bought 5 2-packs of these Better Homes and Garden towels in coordinationg colors. They are thick, soft and very large. And the price was right! I have been looking for new bath sheets for a while but didn't really want to spend $20 per towel which is the everage price I was finding. These were $7.50 each and the quality is better than any of the more expensive towels I looked at.
These towels are the best I have ever used. They washed up very well and dried perfectly. They retained their shape and always look new. I purchased some of a different color for my son to put in his newly built ultra modern bathroom and they look like they belong with the expensive fixtures and tile etc. even though I have seen much more expensive towels at other places, these will hold their own with any comparison in quality and will beat most prices. I love these towels and plan to purchase more for myself and as gifts and would be proud to own or give them as a gift. Yep, I like them lots.
I bought this not really having any expectations but OMG, i love love love these towels. they are so soft, and big and thick, and just for $6 each towel! i bought 3 sets, different colors, intending to just keep 1 set, and giving 2 away, but after using 1, i'm keeping all 3!
These towels wash up nice, and hang nice on a towel rack. They don't shrink, and dry your body well. I have some really thick 100% Egyptian cotton towels that I don't like near as well as I like these. I have bought several and have given them as gifts. Everyone I give them too enjoys them. I have some of the same brand in a regular size and they don't lose their color, and are used a lot. Wonderful towels for the money.
I first purchased these towels to match some towels and rugs I purchased at Kmart and later had to return because they fell apart with the first wash. Then I saw that Walmart had the rugs, wash cloths, hand towels and bath towels, in the same line to match these towels, and they are absolutely fabulous. The rugs are so thick and plush. The color is fantastic. They are very absorbent, wash beautifully, no bleeding, and do not pile like the Kmart ones did. I just love all the Better Homes and Gardens line of items. They are reasonably priced compared to other over priced items that are cheaply made...
THEY ARE THE BEST BATH SHEETS WE HAVE EVER HAD. THEY ARE SO WARM AND THE FIT LARGER PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE THEM LOVE THEM I GOT FOUR OTHER SHEETS FOR OTHER PEOPLE AND THEY ALL HAVE LOVED THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Too early to tell how they will last. Appearance is exceptional and value can't be beat. Priced at $15 per set when I came across them Bought 2 sets each of 3 colors so twelve in all. Would buy more and store them in cedar closet for compnay if they were priced that way again. Still a bargain at regular price for two which was $24.99. Initial use has been excellent.
The towels are nice and fluffy. They do take a while to dry and do leave a lot of lint in the drier lint trap and some on your body for the first couple of uses. Really nice towels for the price. Bath sheets are wide and long, making them wrap around you nicely, even for heavier set folks like me and my fiancee.
