Just received, using for the first time. Disappointed no instruction booklet in box. Will have to check online.
I had a larger one but it was just to big for me and I wanted a smaller one that I could just fix myself small amounts of food and this fit the bill Ever since my husband passed away I have been having a hard time just fixing smal amounts for me.l
I'm the Queen of Pressure Cookers. I have every one on the market in every size. Instant, Cosori, Zavor, Cook's Essentials, etc. This one is EXCELLENT for smaller quantities or beginners. Does a fine job. Takes a while to come to pressure, but you can hurry it up by bringing to a boil on saute before going to pressure mode. Sautes/sears well. Easy to clean.
I love this pressure cooker. My cooking time now is shorter. Can use to cook stews, meet tenderizer, soup.
love it. I have never used a pressure cooker fir beans and ham. Dinner in an hour was amazing
As I am the only one in the house, I didn't need my 6 1/2 quart cooker. The 1 1/2 quart works beautifully. Easy to operate, digital, quiet, and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this pressure cooker.
I have had my 3 quart Proctor Silex Pressure Cooker for a couple months and, until now, I've loved it! I use it for everything! I eat a lot of bean soup and sauces and I love how quickly it cooks! The booklet/instructions speak of changing and cleaning the gaskets, but do you think you can buy an extra one? If so, you are in for the same disappointment that I am experiencing! An appliance that is not easy to buy parts for loses its value in my book. I wish I had gone with the InstantPot brand name!
It's convenient and compact but not great for rice, comes out sticky. There's no one button setting for rice. Also there's no delay start. The inside pot is very easy to clean %26 kind of non stick. I do like that you can saute in it as well. Works best for soups, stews, porridges.
I love this cooker. It's the perfect size for me. But you cannot buy a new gasket. There are NO parts available for this. I wish I had known that before I bought it. I would recommend buying a different brand.
No instructions. I have returned it.
