Brian De Palma's psychological thriller Raising Cain comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English, Spanish, and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Surround. Spanish subtitles are accessible, and the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include biographies of those involved in the production, the theatrical trailer, and production notes. This is a fine release from Universal that will be of interest primarily to De Palma enthusiasts.
