Got this mount for my sport bike thinking I was going to use it on the passenger foot peg. After doing a little experimenting I have found tons of places it can be used! It is very strong, and holds on super tight. Once you get it cranked down it will not move. If your thinking about either this or the handlebar mount, I would recommend this one. It is more heavy duty and feels a bit more secure. Very glad I got this mount

Fits my HD motorcycle handlebars no problem
Holds the GoPro very steady, with much less engine vibration than anticipated (2-stroke engine and propeller on powered parachute). I docked it one star for a cross-threading problem with one of the studs/thumbscrews. Be careful when starting the thumbscrew on the stud - if it doesn't go smoothly, stop and try again. Walmart's price on this mount was 50% of the price anywhere else.
This is good for quick and easy use. It takes time to figure out the angle you want and I wish it goes longer extension. But overall, it is great mount and reliable.
Transfers a lot of noise to the camera and housing from whatever it is attached to, due to not having the flexible neck piece. the mount holds onto bar or poles great.
Our roll bar is in a race truck and was thicker then the opening of the mount, so my son just hooked two mounts to make one big one. Works perfect cause now you have more room to angle the camera as well.
