This is a really nice table for the price. Easy to build, but we were expecting it to come with paddles , don't kn ow why they don't include that.

The pingpong table is good but takes many hours for assembly. Some screw holes on holders are so small that it is very hard to drill in. There are two washers missing in the pakage. The price is somewaht high for this product. It only worths $250 ($100 less than purchase price ).

Difficult to assemble

The assembly instructions on this table were complex. Some of the screws were missing and the directions indicated certain screw lengths should fit in certain parts, but they were not tight or flush. The table would be sturdy and great if the correct assembly parts were provided. We will need to

You get what you pay for….

I mistakenly thought that paying close to $300 for a product (I got this table on sale) would mean that you would get something that would hold up for more than one day. First, all the rumors about the assembly are true. In real time it actually took us 2 days to put this together. We started assembling on Christmas Eve - the night when all parents celebrate the words "some assembly required." After an hour spent trying to locate the pilot holes (note well, they are more like vague pilot suggestions) we were moving along only to be stymied by the point in assembly when they say that a cordless power drill "might be handy." "Might be handy" is code for "Christmas is ruined because there is no way you are getting this thing together without a power drill and what grown adult doesn't own one???" I didn't own one, until now. Merry Christmas to me!!! So, twas the morning after Christmas and I ran off and got myself a cordless power drill. From that point on assembly was smooth, albeit time consuming. It was all fun and games until my son ran out of opponents. Now one of the selling points of a ping pong table is that I don't need to spend the rest of the day hearing my son beg me to play just one more match because he can simply fold the table into the "playback" position and continue to play to his heart's content. Sigh, this was when I lost my faith in relatively inexpensive consumer products. After less than one hour in the playback position, we noticed that the table top began to crack under the weight of its own legs. Geez, I thought we would at least make it through the first 24 hours of use without something breaking. They don't make particle board the way they used to. Now, to be fair, I have contacted the company and have inquired about their warranty program and I'm awaiting a response. However, after paying close to $300, hauling the 200 lb package down to the basement, blowing out the last of my reading vision looking for pilot "holes", and assembling the thing (cripes, I still haven't figured out how I'm going to dispose of the giant pallet!), I can't imagine that I will have the stamina to try to return or exchange any part of this thing. Some times you just want the thing to work. On the plus side, Christmas was not ruined and I now am the proud owner of a great cordless power drill!

poor workmanship

The instructions were very difficult to comprehend, they were not explicit enough which caused improper assemble. The MDF on the actual table was very cheap the screws easily stripped the MDF. I was not able to assemble and had to disposed of it. Wasted over $400 on the table, paddle and balls was not able to use it at all. Will never buy a single item from STIGA in the future.

How cheaply made it is and I know it will not hold up. The directions were the worse I have ever worked with and I am not happy with this purchase but who returns something so big after putting in so much sweat equity putting it together! The manufacture must laugh at who ever buy this table!!
