We have two 818s and two 835s that sound great and can be heard nearly a mile away.
Now nearing our third year using the 835s as our FOH main speakers (with JBL subs, of course!) for our consistently-performing Modern Country/Classic Rock outfit, doing concerts with up to 600 in attendance; HIGH-QUALITY sound that reaches the back rows with clarity and punch... I get pair of SRX 835p on summer 2015 & sound awesome I love it...I plan to get another pair Next Summer I recommended.
Upon purchase and arrival of two of these beasts at my house I was underwhelmed when one of the speakers resembled a blown low frequency driver. After calling the authorized dealer I purchased these from I sent that one back and got a new one. Everything was sound. They sound amazing and the technology that went into the mid frequency driver is amazing. Recently here I did a rental with my equipment and some bass heads decided to run a little too much bass through one of my speakers and the low frequency driver appears to have some problem. (I cannot for sure tell because the warranty does not allow me to take apart the enclosure). Overall this is a great speaker for just about any use. I would recommend to preserve you speakers and make sure bass heads dont blow them up you purchase either the SRX 828 or something of the sort. If you plan to use the app that comes along with these be prepared to find a copy online as they have yet to update it or support the newest Android versions.
