Love this product!!! so many options to make and my husband LOVES to be my taste tester! works fast and easy and so easy to clean just wipe it down!
I recently ordered a Nostalgia pie maker. It is fun to make 4 individual pies or chicken pot pies. For someone who doesn't like to make pies, try it, you'll like it. They are so cute, also! Am having a great time using it.
I had been looking for one for some time. I have made apple, peach and pecan pies plus choc. cupcakes and mini quiche. And all turned out fine. The only thing that I would improve on would be that each cup be a little deeper. Other than that I really am liking it. My son has requested peach pies for his birthday which is today. So I am off to make peach pies. :)
We enjoyed using this product and eating the pies we made. It cooked the pies to perfection and was easy to use.
I've only used this once-well tried to use it once-I am not sure if I like it-I like the idea of it,and plan to try again and see if I get better results.The crusts didn't seal together and it took a long time for it to cook the crusts fully.
Best pies I've ever baked and so easy! Use pre-made pie crust and canned pie filling for a perfect "home made" pie every time.
The size of pies were a little smaller than i expected.About the size of a cupcake.We bought instant coconut pudding,apple,apricot,berry pie filling and premade pie crust and gave it a try.Also picked up some pizza sauce, pizza toppings and some soup that looked like chicken pot pie without the crust and tried it.All seemed to work out okay, only a few pies had holes in sides from the crust stretching thin.Make sure the the two pieces of crust you cutout with the cutter overlap or filling will boil out(mostly with the pudding)tho easy to cleanup.Some tops never seem to get as brown even cooking them a few minutes longer than recommended,5-8 minutes.It seems that when the top crust balloons up, they brown good ,but not as good when they lie flat.(see pic). Shipping was free and fast. We decided to give the 2 pie maker they sell a try and ordered it hoping it will be closer to a "pot pie" size.

Bought for my daughter, she is enjoying. You do need to over stuff the center of the pie with filling to insurer that the top layer of dough bakes. Cleans up easily.
it makes very small pies, and it takes longer than 8 min to cool them . This causes the crust to either burn or if taken out per instructions not done on the bottom crust.
