Love the look and it makes great milk shakes! Is there a matching toaster?
This is a very well built blender. I've grown tired of the spindle from the motor always wearing out on blenders. This "bee hive" design' is a much better idea. It doesn't have all of those buttons for "puree", "liquidify", "crush", etc., but who cares? Fast and slow speeds on a durable switch. Perfect.
Having built a new home and designed my kitchen in black white with copper accents, I originally bought this for design effects. Having used this processor I find it is as good as it looks! Easy to use- not a lot of attachments to change out and comes clean as new- The Copper color is still as shiny as the day I bought it.
Simple and to the ponit, this is the best blender I have ever owned. It is durable and attractive looking.
I will admit I purchased this blender because of it's appearance. I have copper accents in my kitchen and thought this would be an attractive addition. I already own a blender, and didn't need another. That being stated, I am very satisfied in both it's appearance and its functionality. I find the family using this blender often, because it is sitting on the counter, whereas my other blender was kept in the cabinet as it wasn't decorative, as this one is. I have read some comments that this style blender is louder than most. I don't find that true at all. I wish it had one more speed setting, something between pulse and high, but it gets the jobs done just the same. I like the glass, it has a nice weight to it, but not too heavy. Also, the price was a good value at $67.00. I find many copper finished pieces are priced almost double the cost of chrome finished pieces. This style blender is priced at $49.00 in the chrome finish, showing this blender is 25% higher in price. You are paying more, but for people who are looking for a particular "look", they may feel it is worth the extra money. Had this been double the cost, I wouldn't have purchased it; but at a 25% increase in cost, I felt getting the look I was going for was worth it.
I LOVE how this blender looks! That is what attracted me to it in the first place. It blends quickly and thoroughly. My only complaint is that it is LOUD. But since it only takes a few seconds to blend my smoothies, milkshakes, etc, it's only loud for a short period of time. I also like how the pitcher part is glass, not plastic. Overall, a good product.
The Oster Copper blender not only looks beautiful, but also has a strong motor. It's difficult to get copper appliances and I was just glad to find one, but the performance is an added value.
