I use the chopper for preparing foods for my disabled son to eat. I like him to have texture in his food and not just blended smooth, and this chopper does the trick in seconds. My only wish is that it was offered in stainless steel.
I had bought this chopper last year and with so much use I had broke it. I tossed it away and went to find it in th stores, and couldn't. It took several months to finally come across The Biggest Loser chopper online only. This chopper actually "chops" food, not just "mushes" food. Put in a fresh, moist slice of bread (slightly torn) and it will make "dust" or "crumbs" not make a ball of dough. It also comes with a blender container to make liquid foods also.
I'm making smoothies and hummus everday now and loving every minute of it! I'm eating healthier than I ever have.
I love to use this for making smoothies in the morning and I like the small footprint, the lightness of the plastic blending containers, and that its easy to clean. It doesn't seem to crush ice cubes very well and the blades seem a little small. I haven't tried the food processor yet but will soon. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.
Very flimsy plastic. Returned to store.
