[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my little cousin and had he absolutely loves it! Very fun and functional for a seven year old. I would highly recommend something like this for little kids. I love that it gives him a way way to contact his parents!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this smart watch. It's our way of introducing him to tech that can help him communicate with friends and family. We also love that it is simple to use and very kid friendly. It's durable too. Our favorite feature though is it's GPS location services which allow us to keep tabs on him when needed. We would definitely recommend!
Fit the need and went way beyond. I was looking for a watch that my child could use. For a little more I got the cellular phone incorporated. We both love it!
My son loves the watch. The Cell Phone contract was easy to administer with my carrier. I love the safety that affords. I find him enjoying the games and interaction Xplora has. Reliable battery and great graphics compared to his last watch which didn't have hardly any of the features. Worth the extra to get this one!!
Setup The setup went pretty smooth just make sure you understand setting up service for the SIM and setting up the watch with App is two different steps. Also make sure you update to the latest firmware and allow the watch to connect to the satellite if the watch does not show the right time. I have not been able to figure out how to set the time manually. Use Took my kids less than 5 minutes to learn. They love the ability to call mom, dad , friends and grandparents. The strap is quite long/big, so my 7 year old has to wear the watch fully tightened. Safe zones are great so you know that your child is within the zone you have set up and get a warning if they move outside. Battery runs out fairly quickly, so you have to charge every night, as long as you make it a routine it is ok. Charging is with a standard cable, ideally I would like an easier charging option, but I think that is coming with Xploras latest watch. Quality My kids have used the watch for 2 months now, the watch still looks new and all functions work as intended.
Perfectly fits our needs. Very versatile and my child loves it. Make sure you connect the cellular feature with your carrier and talk to your child. Lots of extra features as compared to others.
My kids LOVE their watches! Now I get play by plays as they're getting picked up for their after school programs 😂 but I love it! Only hiccup is that every now and then it says there's a error with an action but you only need to restart! And you'll only be able to use the phone chips that came with the watches if you want to give them their own individual watch lines. I made the mistake of thinking I could add them to my T-Mobile account and I COULD but they're forced to add them to a preexisting number. Turns out T-Mobile is already partnered with Xplora to give the kids their own line. Side of that we LOVE THEM! Ohh and they could be a little louder!
crap! broke in less then a week
the setup is terrible I tried for over 3 hours to activate the SIM card only to find out that the SIM card they provide is inactive T-Mobile AT%26T and Metro by T-Mobile all do not support any of these watches they only use the T-Mobile towers no one could help set the watch up because they're locked. so I had to return both of the watches that I just bought last week.
