When I ordered this generator, I was trusting that this would be a reliable product that I could set up and use easily. I was not disappointed. It was delivered a week before the max delivery date (a real plus!). I found the setup instructions were concise and reasonably accurate - with the exception that the manual fails to mention the installation and use of the locking pins for the handles; however, this process is intuitive when the owner inspects the unit carefully. I found the oil fill funnel was useless - even potentially messy - due to the too-short spout and angle necessary to fill the crankcase. Fortunately, I had learned from an earlier review and had a better funnel with flexible feed tube available. In summary, setting up and testing this generator was a snap. This Honeywell product has enough power margin to service my house and barn easily. I am almost looking forward to the next power outage - just to see how well it meets the manufacturer's claims!
Easy to assemble, needed better funnel to fill the oil though... overall seems to be well constructed. Mine seems to start a little harder than i'd like, but i'm not sure i should complain about that as it only takes a couple minutes to get it going... i just kind of expected it to fire right up like a riding mower would... the choke seems to want to keep it from starting even though it is very cold out right now, so it's possible that may need some adjustment, or maybe that will change as it breaks in some... seems to be the best value out there right now for a generator with these wattage ratings. i did a test run for about half an hour tonight and it powered the house just fine. Overall very happy with it for the price and glad i'm ready for the next power outage....
