I don't write reviews..but I have course,frizz prone multitextured hair and this stuff with the shampoo and conditioner is a life altering (as far as hair goes :) change. It has been the only product line that has worked and I have spent hundreds of dollars trying to like my hair for the last 40 years.. It has really smooth my hair and made it so soft.. My sister actually asked me if I had a Brazilian blowout LOL and for my hair that is a real compliment.. I'm have no problem recommending this line to anyone who hates their hair because of frizz coarseness or curl Factor.. I would not use it on thin or fine hair I think it would really weigh everything down.. With a correction being made that this does not weigh my hair down at all.. It does not leave any type of coating on it like some do with silicone excetera excetera I still get a lot of static which apparently is good because it means your hair is not being coded by products and ruined says my hairdresser.. I straighten my hair most the time which for anybody who does that and does not have naturally straight here understands that with the least amount of humidity in the air it will revert back to its natural wild state.. This stuff stops that process I can straighten my hair I could get rained on and my hair will not frizz backup like it would before I'm not kidding I'm sure there's different situations and conditions that applies to but I'm telling you I straighten my hair I went to the store I got rained on got in the car drove home when I got home my hair was going to be a complete disaster and it looked just as good as before I got soaked with the rain.. Buy this stuff use it religiously ..... I do believe it has a cumulative effect and when you feel it maybe being too straight back off for a few days use your own judgment but I really like it I would have gave it 10 Stars if I could.
Using this pre-conditioner along with the shampoo and conditioner makes my hair smooth and less frizzy. I hope that L'Oreal does not discontinue this line of product since it works so well on my thick, coarse, color treated curly hair!

I was able to use this entire line including shampoo, conditioner, balm, and this product itself. When I first got it, I thought, "Why in the world would I want to add an extra step to my hair care routine in the shower?" Well, that extra step is what makes your hair crazy soft! I absolutely loved how straight and soft my hair was after using this product before the conditioner. On days when I rushed, I noticed an immediate difference in hair texture. *I received this product for free to test. It worked well on my over-bleached and fried hair, thanks to the conditioning treatment, I don't look like bird's nest.

I AM IN PURE HEAVEN OVER MY HAIR!!!! IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER, ITS PERFECTION. The only issue is the lack of availability in stores for the preconditioner' they do not carry it!
I am 46 live in florida have thick curly frizzy hair, forever 80's hair and for the first time in my life 2 years ago i got straight, soft, beautiful hair that i was proud of abd wore down because i could. That was all because of the 4 part lOreal smooth intense system, the shampoo, pre treat conditioner, conditioner and perfecting balm. And now i cant buy it, and im horrified as to what is going to happen to my hair. I told several people about this ststem because they were having the same issues as i was. I have worked at the same place for 16 years and im a bartender and when the customers start asking what have i done to my hair its so beautiful i said it was all loreal smooth intense. I am very distraught that i can not buy the pre treat and perfecting balm because the new products hust dont work the same and the frizz is coming back. I can literally watch my hair get big when i dont have this system. Please let me know how i can get these products and please put thrm back on the shelves of our local stores.
I've been using the Boosting Pre-Conditioner along with the other Ultimate Straight products and get great results on my wavy hair. But now I cannot buy it anywhere! What's going on? Are you discontinuing this item? I hope not.
This is the best hair product I've EVER used and I've tried just about everything. I almost never repurchase the same conditioner and shampoo but I've gone through a few of these and now I can't get it anywhere!! I'm actually devestated. PLEASEE BRING THIS PRE CONDITIONER BACK!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of the shampoo, preconditioner and the conditioner at Walmart. I used all three and absolutely loved the results! My hair was so smooth and easy to style. The only drawback is that the shampoo, conditioner and styling balm are very easy to find in local stores but for some reason the preconditioner is nowhere to be found in stores! I really don't understand the unavailability of the product.
I bought this item to complete the regime for my husband. He absolutely loves this stuff and of course the three other products that go along with it.
