The only reason I don't give this monkey 5 stars is because of the squeaker. It's not removable, and my dogs hate squeaky toys, which is unfortunate. This monkey is really durable and holds up to chewing, but as soon as my dogs hear the squeak, they are scared to play with it again, so it sits for weeks before they'll even approach it again. Other toys have squeakers that can be broken, but not this. Otherwise it's very cute, and I would purchase it again.
