I've been feeding my Australian shepherd this product for 6 months now. His coat is shiny and he loves the taste of Max dog foods. I would strongly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently decided to try a different dog food for my dogs because they seem to be tired of their regular brand. I decided to purchase the Nutro Max Adult Dog Food in Beef flavor. They're both very picky dogs but they ate this and wanted more. So the dogs and I definitely give Nutro a big thumbs up.
Best prices and 2 day shipping , cheaper than going down the street to the local big box pet store .

I changed my dog's food from another brand to nutro, and I visibly saw the difference. Stools were compact, for one thing, which is very good, with such a large dog (German Shepherd/Lab X). Her coat was shinier, and she didn't need to eat as much. I have switched from a lot of brands and Nutro is the best one hands down. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was wondering why the 35 lb. bags were reduced to 30 lb. ? Also the bags were changed and the food is no longer the same color. Worst of all the price stayed the same for 5 lbs. less food.
has anyone else experienced a problem finding the large bags of beef meal and rice since they have changed the bag and product color? small bags don't last long with a 60# dog and everyone who carries it seems to be out of large bags all the time. is this a distribution or production issue?
Both our dogs got bad diarrhea from this, one even had bloody diarrhea. They recovered three days after changing to a different dog food brand. This week one dog found this Nutro Max bag in the storage room that was accidentally left open. He has had diarrhea again. He is over 15 years old and is acting sick, so we'll try to get him to a vet if he isn't better by tomorrow.
Our golden Doddle, who loves food, utterly refused to eat this. We had to throw out the whole bag.
