I'm so glad I got to try the RapidRecipt RR 70W as a small business owner this scanner is really helpful and fast. I love that I can scan my document in a click of a button. I had a little trouble downloading the software but that was my fault because I didn't install it properly the first time however once I did it right It was so easy to use and set up. The best feature is that is wireless compatible so you can use it almost anywhere. Great for travelers and on the go scanner it's lightweight and durable. You can also connect it to your phone which makes it easier. The software is also really useful to manage expense reports and you are also able to export to various applications. I am so pleased with the scanner because I have so many receipts due to rebate apps and it's very hard to keep them organized by dates. This is an absolute dream come true for somebody that does a lot of scanning and needs to keep some kind of order with your papers. The wireless capability is by far the biggest selling point for me and it's a definite plus that it works with smart phones and tablets. The Epson RR-70W Wireless Receipt Scanner is lightweight and packed with the latest technology, making it a real asset to your business or for personal use. Out of the box it is extremely easy to set up. It does require an internet connection to download the installation and scanning software that is included. One good thing that I'd like to point out is that it has an internal rechargeable battery. The USB cord is included, and is used to charge the scanner and to connect it to your Windows based computer, or to your MAC, as it is compatible with both. The scanner has the following buttons, lights and ports: 1. Mini USB port - used to charge the scanner and to connect it to Windows or Mac based computers or laptops and it makes it portable so you can carry with you. 2. On/Off switch 3. The Scan button - allows one touch scanning. 4. The battery light- the light shows the battery life. 5. The Wireless lights - shows when you are connected to WiFi and to a smartphone or tablet 6. The Ready light - shows when the scanner is ready to scan 7. The guide - shows you where to insert the paper or receipt 8. The WiFi button - turns the WiFi off or on 9. The connect to WiFi button The features include ultra fast receipt scanning and receipt management, as well as invoice scanning and management. The software included allows you to upload the receipts with Intuit QuickBooks, Quicken, TurboTax, Microsoft Excel and more, which is a real plus. PDF software is also included, allowing you to quickly scan, extract and export invoices and receipts. The software, at 300 dpi, saves the scanned invoices at a rate of 15 pages per minute. It's fast and portable. With the included USB cord and the internal rechargeable battery, going mobile is simple and fast. Scanning is simple and wireless. The wireless feature allows you to connect to your smartphone or tablet, both Android based and iOS based. Wireless setup is simple and doesn't require a lot of technical knowledge. During setup, it automatically detects your wireless network and fills in your password for your wireless network. It also has a contact image censor, which extracts contact data from your receipts and invoices and makes them searchable. This feature of the software is great and saves a lot of time. The scanner is small and super light, it is easy to configure and easy to move from one place to another, it does not require large spaces. The whole family found it very easy to use and its scanning on invoices, documents and receipts is of very good quality. It is also wireless. We are so happy with this scanner! My husband operates his own small business, and I handle the financial side of it. He often has to buy materials and equipment before and during his jobs, and receipts easily get misplaced. That is why we LOVE this Epson receipt scanner. It makes scanning receipts, invoices, documents, etc SUPER quick and easy. Because of it's wireless capability and being mobile, my husband has started taking it with him on jobs so that he can scan his receipts as soon as he gets back to his truck. The set up of this scanner could not have been easier! We took it out of the box, charged it, installed the app, and we were ready for action! My husband loves that he operates it easily with the app on his phone, so there's no need to hook up to the desktop. Epson, thank you so much for making our lives easier! The Epson RR-70W has exceeded my expectations. It is small enough to easily take with me on trips, it works wirelessly with a good battery life and is lightweight too. It was easy to connect to Wi-Fi and the app was easy to use as well. Being able to upload to accounting software really helps. I like it a lot for scanning store receipts. I wish it could do longer receipts. Once the receipt gets to a certain length it won't continue to scan it. I don't regularly have super long receipts so it isn't a huge deal.
