[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this to help me clear out old papers. My wife gets tired of my piles of papers. It was packed well, easy to get out and put all the trays on it. I like the software, it's easy to upload things to Google Drive. And you can search the documents! I didn't realize it does business cards so that was a cool thing to find out. It seems to go about as fast as it advertised 40 pages per minute. And so far it hasn't had any jams. So it's doing a lot better than my old printer and scanner in one. I like that it's small and compact when the trays aren't out. It fits on my lower desk shelf when I'm not using it.
Why didn't I purchase this earleir? It was a breeze to set up and super easy to use. I scanned packets in a matter of minutes.
Purchased the Canon as a replacement for a Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner, which would not work with Mac Catalina OS. The Canon works great and yes there is a slight learning curve because the software is different. I do wish that the OCR software that's available for Windows was also available for Mac, but it's not.
I havent used it too much yet. Just getting started with my project of reducing paper in my house. But so far I really like it. Very quiet, very fast. I had to get used to the "app" but once I figured out the settings I got into a groove.
This scanner is so much better then the Raven. The items scanned are immediately available to review an process. The scans are straight and very clear.
Easy Set-up Good instructions Works well Fast scanning
Great value. I still need to test the product and put it through the paces, so I will update if I'm disappointed w/ the item
it did what it was suppose to. had trouble downloading software took several tries
It is fast, and good with the double sided. I only gave four stars because the advertised "free" included software did not work correctly.
Its still early for a review since I've had it less than 2 weeks. However, I like the size, looks and speed of scanning. That said it is not the most user friendly. It's definitely not as easy to use as my old fujitsu scansnap. I was worried about the software since I have a windows 11 computer but I had no problems downloading from canon's website.
