I bought these as a alternative way to store my classroom visuals. I couldn't be happier with the outcome! They are much less expensive than the items that are specifically designed for bulletin board and classroom visuals. They are sturdy and hang up great in my closet. It will be a breeze next year getting my classroom ready for the different themes and seasons. Thank you, Hefty!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these!! They are holding up better than other brands. The material is slightly thinner however durability does not seem to be an issue. I didn't think these bags would hold up because my vacuum did not fit perfectly over the suction part. It didn't need to though. I put the attachment hose over the port and it sucked all of the air out with no issues. My favorite part it that none of the air seeped out while I tried to hurry and put a cap on it. This is because the port is made not to need a cap! How cool is that! And it worked! I put some seasonal throw pillows in my bags and they haven't leaked a bit of air since. Also, having 2 sections in one bag is great for storing seasonal clothes! I do recommend this item and I will purchase again.
I have several kinds I have used over the past few years. No matter what I do to more than 10 different of the other bags they just will not hold their seal long term. They just aren't magic to me any longer. To my surprise, the new kid on the block is still going on strong! The 2-Hefty shrink-pak bags I reluctantly decided to try are the only ones still holding their seal after many months of storage. I have many years experience with the other brand and almost always end up disappointed when they don't hold up. You Hefty, have fixed this for me, THANKS!!!
Great size. Only down falls is your zipper attachment comes off. Then it's left behind. Need solution. Please. Thank you
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great bag if you are looking to save space. It is a great size that I even use it for my kids blankets. I love the fact that you can use any vacuum hose to get the air out of it. To close it is a little tricky that it takes a few minutes to make sure everything is aligned and closed correctly. There is a divider that you can use to separate items which is great for organizing. Overall these are great for storage and saving space and very easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Hefty 2LG Shrink Pak comes with 2 large divided bags that can hold a lot of my clothes. Each bag has two separate compartments, one is a little smaller for storing under garments and socks and the larger one can be used to store bigger items. The bag is convenient for travelling and storing your apparel items. Multiple comforters and blankets can also be stored using these shrink-pak bags. To remove the air, the bag can be pressed by hands or a vacuum can be used. I like that these bags save me a lot of space. I'd suggest to use a vacuum for better removal of air as pressing by hands, doesn't completely make the bag into a vacuum seal. It does remove a lot of air but then the air gets back into the bag after a while. They have a double seal valve that prevents any air from entering into the bag. The package comes with a seal that quickly helps to close the double closure. The bags are water, dirt, insect and mildew resistant. It is easy to use and the pack is transparent so everything inside can be seen. I'd recommend it for it's ability to hold a lot of items at a time.
I love them other than occasionally one doesn't stay air tight. I believe they should issue alternate deal when that happens. Otherwise they are awesome!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag has great potential. I will start with the positives. This bag is large enough to hold pants, pullovers and t-shirts. It was easy to shrink wrap, you just put the vacuum hose against the circle and it sucks all the air out of the bag. This will come in handy going on a trip or space in your closet. That being sad, here is the negatives. The divider inside the bag is a nonsense, you have to put something really small on the smaller side of the bag. I feel that this side needs to be bigger. Also the white glider comes off way too easy. It feel off three times as I was closing the bag. The bag originally didn't close on the first try. It closed after putting the slider back on for the third time. I believe this product has great potential with certain changes.As of right now I honestly cannot recommend this product to a friend.
It will not stay sealed, air gets in. No matter how many times we reclose it, and it is not even packed very full. And the product was Hefty 2-LG Shrink-Pak, not the divided one. They do not have that one as a choice so this is the nearest to being similar.
I purchased the 2 count jumbo shrink pak bag. When I put my contain in the bag, it busted. I purchased this product because of the name and reputation of the company by it failed to do it stated on the package. I'm very disappointed
