The item is probably big enough to hold any large iron. The case, itself, is a little larger than the iron, so looks big and bulky when you pull it out of the box, but you get used to that. The case, made of durable plastic, gets a little warm as the iron cools down, but not hot. It is a good item to have to keep the iron out of the way of children, or to carry the iron, if you need to move it. Worth having.
This is a great way to get a hot iron out of the way. The only bad thing about this is the fact that the lid very often falls off the hinge. While the hinge is poorly designed the lid can be put back on, it is just annoying. I find it worth the hassle to get the hot iron safely out of the way when I am done with it.
