I think this is a great product my 2 year old LOVES it. She loves playing in the sink but this is a much safer alternative.
I purchased this product after our son played with our neighbors. I guess my neighbors have the older model to where the sink dispenses water without having to pump it. My neighbors Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink is battery operated, so all the children have to do is flip a switch to have the water flow into the sink. With this model, you have to pump the faucet in order to get the water to flow. Our son still enjoys playing with it, but he is not strong enough to pump the faucet so either my husband or myself have to pump the faucet.
This is an impossible product to find because NO stores carry it in store, so if you want one, it must be ordered on-line which is frustrating. Wal-Mart needs to carry this product in their stores! I thought the sink faucet was very difficult to put together and the instruction provided little information on how to make it any easier but everything else went together very easily. Once I jumped the assembly hurdle and waited the 10 days to receive my product, I found it was worth the wait! My kids LOVE LOVE LOVE it!
was great idea, kids loved it. dirt and/sand plug the screen then does not circulate water... only down fall.. but bound to happen
I couldn't believe how poorly this product was made. My brother has the same one, but with the battery operated one and it worked great. The hand pumped one, which is this model would not pump any water by anyone trying to hand pump it. Don't buy this one, look at the other model and purchase the battery one. We returned this one and bought the other.
We owned last years version of the Step2 Fun Flow Play Sink and were very happy with it. However, during our move the movers lost half of the parts so we had to buy another one. We thought we would buy the "new and improved" version thinking it would be better but boy were we wrong. This new version has a manual pump which means the parent must keep pumping the handle in order to make the water come out (not at all as it shows on the box, where two kids are happily playing and the water is running freely). Our 2 year old daughter tried to pump it but it was too hard for her. After 5 minutes of pumping we were over this "new and improved" version and returned it to buy the older version which includes an automatic pump. We are very happy with the older version and would recommend it to anyone.
