Hair did not feel dry after coloring, even before using conditioning tube. No offensive odor, did not itch, burn, or irritate my scalp. The shade is gorgeous and true to box color. In the sun it's a beautiful choc brown with burgundy undertones. I wanted some warmth but did not want a red or gold since I"m light/med olive complexion. I will buy this as long as they continue to make it. Easy to apply, no drips. Hardly any color down drain during rinsing.
I wanted to try a foam type haircolor. I decided to give Loreal a try. I am very pleased with the outcome. Color is beautiful, I used pure darkest brown. Very little smell, easy directions and working with foam is so convenient. I will be using this product on a regular basis.
I colored by hair for the 1st time ever...usually have it professionally done, but don't want to pay $150 anymore so I decided the mousse would be the best. Love it...so easy to apply and it has perfect grays coverage. So many compliments received in just a few days!
I used Sublime Mousse for the first time a month ago. Love the way my hair felt after and when I wash it. The color is identical to the pictures. I don't get a reddish highlight light the others this one actually is low in red and more golden hightlights. My hair is naturally dark brown and I was using Excellence. I think this is what I will always use for now on!!
I had been using Feria 56 for a long time, then last coloring I used 56 Sublime Mousse. I loved both of these colors, recieved so many complements. However, I decided I wanted a change, something dark, but not black, that would make my hazel eyes stand out. This shade is perfect!! Absolutely beautiful color!! It is sooo rich! i feel like a new person. I know I can always trust loreal. Thank you.
I have very thick jet black hair. I color my hair about every 5 weeks. I usually use Loreal Preferance. I used the Sublime Mousse for the first time yesterday. The application was so easy. There were no harsh smells and it did not drip. It washed out quickly and easily. It left my hair soft and shinny. The only con I have is that I don't feel that it covered my gray as well as the Preferance. However, I will be usuing it again because of the other reasons I listed above. Great Product!
I loved the foam! It was so easy to use and didn't get all over my sink or walls! The only down side to it was that every time I take a shower my hair bleeds. ): My hair has been dyed for about two weeks now and I've only taken about three showers. My hair has previously been red so I'm somewhat used to bleeding. But still....you need to work on that. Other than that it was an amazing product! Oh, and also came out a shade darker than the box but it's still a lovely color!
My summer brassy blonde hair needed to get toned down so I went for a darker shade of blonde. The color came out a rich, dark blonde with lighter highlights from my previous brassy blonde. Normally, I would be mad that the color is much darker than the box but it created a really nice "winter blonde" color that I probably won't be able to recreate again! If you buy and you are light golden blonde, it will darken you.
Well, I decided to try this product for the first time today. Application was easy. It was not as messy as the liquid type hair dyes. However, this product is terrible. My hair is naturally black but I had some grey roots to color. The dye did not color the roots properly. My root area is now a reddish/ brownish/ purplish color! This is just awful and I don't know how to fix it. If I re-color my hair I am afraid to burn my hair or irritate my scalp. I will never buy this again!
I've used and loved L'Oreal products for years, and when I saw Sublime Mousse on sale for cheaper than the brand I was planning to buy and having heard good things about mousse/foam type dyes as well as wonderful experiences with L'Oreal Preference, I decided to try it. Even at a discounted price, it was not worth the money. To begin with, the foam seemed very runny and I actually made a bigger mess than I have made with traditional dyes in years. This, however might be wrote off as me being inexperience with foam vs traditional dye. I followed the instructions, working in the foam evenly and letting it set for the recommended time. If I had to say something positive about this product, it would be that it didn't smell terrible, nor did it burn or sting at all. But then came time to rinse it out. The conditioner that comes with it does smell awful, but that was only the beginning. I wasn't concerned about how dark my hair looked still wet, but then as it dried it didn't lighten up as I expected to. I compared the L'Oreal box with my usual brand and the hair color on the model on the front and in the expected results on the back of the boxes were comparable, with L'Oreal perhaps being a shade lighter. My hair, however, didn't get any lighter. It actually got several shades darker bumping me from a pleasant medium blonde to a light brown with, confusingly enough, a strange greenish tint to it. What was worse, was that it was uneven too! I try not to judge products on how they work at the ends of my hair, because I know I do things I shouldn't and it is somewhat damaged, but I hadn't dyed my hair in some time and it was even blotchy and uneven on the virgin hair of my roots! I could not recommend this product less. If you're really worried about mess or easy application, buy Preference or some other brand, take a little more time, and get a friend to help you dye your hair. Make a party of it. But do not get this product.
