this stuff WORKS! my son (we call him the vampire cause he is so white while we are so tan) used this on his ears and face and even after being at Adventureland for ten hours, including the water park...it did NOT wash off...he stayed white as usual! and it rubs in, so you don't have the 'white streak' famous from lifeguards in the past! not waxy, more like a thick lotion. Not strongly scented either!
This is sunscreen is perfect for my face. A little bit goes a long way in terms of coverage for a few hours outdoors. You do have to let it sink in before putting on makeup if you are a foundation wearer. I have combination skin and this does not cause oil build up at all. Love the product. Keep one at home and another in my bag.
This is a physical sunblock which is what I need. I have very sensitive skin and I wear this everyday. It is hard to rub in (it's not invisible). But it doesn't cause breakouts.
I've been struggling between being sun safe with sunscreen that stings my eyes or going without so my eyes won't sting and tear. This facial sunscreen doesn't sting my eyes! I'm happy I found it. It also makes a good makeup base. My makeup foundation glides over this sunscreen with no problems. I can't believe it's less that 4 dollars!
This is a great product. It goes on white at first, but when you rub it in, it disappears. You are a little shiny, but it just looks like a healthy glow.
I wear this under my makeup when i leave the house but even wear it when I am not going out because it is light, and doesn't have a greasy feeling. Also I leave the window shades pulled all day so the sun still comes into the rooms I'm in. As long as the sun is up, I can wear sunscreen. If I suddenly have to go out, I don't want to forget to put this on. Helps if you are trying to lighten skin blemishes or scars with a fade/whitening cream. Then it is a must! I have oily skin and this still works well for me. It is also waterproof for 80 minutes with is also nice.
I say that because with this product a little does a lot. You only need a finger full on your face for a few hours of really good protection from the sun. It is "50" SPF and that is excellent protection from the sun if you really have to watch it like I do. You don't have to be afraid to rub this product into your skin. The main ingredient is zinc oxide, the product used widely for babies. Really Good Stuff.
We live in the Tropics where the intensity of UV rays are higher. Equate Ultra Spectrum Clear Zinc Sunscreen really provides the needed protection. It holds up beautifully even during long kayak trips.
After suffering severe sunburns on face, chest & upper back, several years ago, I never want to be without my "Equate SPF50 Face & Lips Sunscreen". I've had a difficult time finding it in the store, everyone knows how good it is, so I ordered it on line. This is the only one that doesn't sting my face. I love it. I ordered 5 bottles, so I wouldn't run out again. Try it you'll love it also.
My husband is a red head with of course fair skin, zink is his friend. Great for noses ears and exposed necks. Great on a long road trip too for that arm by the window!
