My son has very dry skin and when he was 5 months the pediatrician advised I could not use Johnson & Johnson on him as he broke out with a horrible rash. I tried Aveeno Creamy baby body wash and within 5 days his skin was back to normal and extremely soft. He is now 3 years old and I still use the creamy body wash for babies and the lotion. I'm even unable to use bubble bath for bubbles because his skin is sensitive so I use the Aveeno creamy baby wash for bubbles in the tub as well. My only trouble is that he is getting bigger and now their is more of him to cover then when he was a baby. The 12 oz is no longer lasting the way it use to when he was a baby. Do you plan on making it in a larger quantity for toddlers to use? He is in the in between stages and buying it every two weeks puts a hurting on my pockets as I'm a single parent of two but want the best for his skin. I don't want to have to try something new when this clearly works and works GREAT for us..
my son has sensitive skin, especially behind his ears, and I have used this since his infancy. He is 6 yrs old now, and sure I allow him to use "big boy" shampoo and soap (creamy and unscented), but if he stays off this product for so long he starts breaking out and bleeding behind his ears again. I dare not stop using this product!
My toddler son has eczema and I have tried at least 6 different products and this is the only one that made it go away. Other products made discomfort and this one seems to sooth his skin and we haven't seen any outbreaks on his skin for over 3 months now.
I get extremely dry and flaky skin during the winter and I also have generally sensitive skin so most of the adult moisturizing soaps just make it worse. Not this product though! I could not survive the winter without my Soothing Relief Creamy Wash! It leaves my skin soft and smooth without those annoying scents and it lasts the entire day.
I started using this product when my daughter was a couple of weeks old. She had started to develop baby acne and I hated seeing her beautiful skin with the ugly blemishes. I read other reviews for the product working to clear up the acne. So I decided to try it along with the soothing moisturizing lotion. It worked beautifully, about a week after using both products together her little face cleared up and has been clear ever since. Love this product!
My family exclusively used the Aveeno line of products for over 15 years stemming from the oatmeal bath for chicken pox and we've never looked back! When my son was 6 months old I found a baby shower gift with a different brand of wash in it and not wanting to waste it I started using it on him. About a month in I noticed he had a red scaly rash on his chest and face appearing, I immediately switched his wash back to the Aveeno Soothing Relief baby wash and lotion and noticed an immediate difference. Needless to say we will not be using different brands again, Aveeno is the only way to go! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have tried nearly every product suggested by my gynecologist and to no avail. Walking through the baby department to purchase some powder I noticed the creamy wash and decided to try it. It is amazing!!! I wish it came in a larger size and was offered with a pump. Thank you for a great product.
My 3 month old daughter has baby eczema and after trying several other washes, this really helped. I also used the Aveeno lotions and shampoo. Helped a lot.
I have been using this for several months. I recently repurchased a couple weeks ago, and the formula has changed. I noticed the consistency was more slimy (not as creamy) and the smell wasn't the same (even though it's fragrance-free). I still had my old bottle, so I was able to compare ingredients, and sure enough, it has been reformulated. The "new" bottle lists the Colloidal Oatmeal as the LAST ingredient, whereas the "old" bottle listed it further up on the ingredient list. Also, a lot of the other ingredients have changed. I do NOT like the new version and will be searching for a new fragrance-free body wash.
Aveeno baby lotion is the only lotion we can use on my son due to his eczema and sensitive skin, so we tried this soothing relief creamy wash. He immediately had red splotches all over his skin and started scratching himself. He was so itchy! Had to bathe him again in another environment with another product to get the itching to stop. Sorry, I can't recommend this for babies with sensitive skin.
