I needed a baby gate for both my guest rooms as they are in the end hall by the AC unit and proper air flow is needed, so keeping the doors closed is not an option full time. These look great in the space and help keeps the dogs out of the open rooms. I was so happy to find this option that was affordable to pleasing to the eye.

For the price is good , does the job if to be honest , I dont with it would work very much for medium-big pet sizes as is not very firm , just enough , Small medium yes .
We bought 2 of these gates. These look nice against our dark hardwood floors and they were an inexpensive gate option. However, they are amazingly easy to knock over. The mechanism to "lock" the gate in place doesn't work well for us. One notch makes the gate too small for the opening. The next notch makes the gate too big and it doesn't fit into the opening. We ended up pulling the gate as far open as we could to secure it tightly in our opening (s) and then drilling a screw through the top of both sides of the gate to make it stick. It works, as long as you don't knock it over as you are stepping over the gate. If you touch it, it will fall over over.... We are just hoping our small dog doesn't start jumping on the gate(s) because then we are toast! I would not recommend the gates and would buy more expensive, sturdier ones if I did it again. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because they do look pretty against the wood floors.

It arrived broken and was of very poor quality. I will return it and try to find something else of a little better quality.
This pet gate is the biggest waste of money ever. It will not adjust properly or stay up . Very flimsy. Very disappointed a company like Evenflo would make something this quality. I wouldn't give it one star, but can't rate it for less. DO NOT BUY THIS.
I bought one and my Chihuahua cleared the 23inch heigh gate without touching it. Went back and bought a second one, doubled stacked them high, and he chewed through it within 10mins
