This is a nice quality quilt and I am pleased. The color in the pic looks more like a maroon (at least on my screen) but the actual color is a deep rich purple. We bought the King size for our Queen and it hangs nicely on the bed. Of course the shams are a little big. I'm not picky as no one else goes in our room.
but the quilt is a way deeper purple than the picture shows it to be. And there is not a lighter color to the other side. I still like it because it is soft and heavy enough to keep me warm. But it's more of a royal purple than the purple shown.
I ordered mainly because of the color. I have been looking for just a "plain" dark purple quilt and this one was perfect. I have washed and dryed the quilt and it still looks new. Fits our queen matress nicely. It is a warmer quilt so probably only good to use during the cooler months. Worth the money. It seems like it will last.
This is beautiful quilt and for the price the quality is much better than expected. It is a very deep, rich purple which I am actually using in a modern theme.
I love it. It's soft and the red is beautiful. I'm ready for winter.

This quilt is everything I was looking for, and more. I ordered the purple in king size and it is very generously sized. The color is a deep eggplant. The fabric is 100% cotton. The front of the quilt is velvety soft. It is thick and luxurious. A surprise (to me) was that this quilt came with 2 king shams! I didn't know it was a set with shams. I love it and think it's built to last a long time.
This quilt set it's a great value for the money. Its machine washable. I was afraid of the material being fuzzy but it it just fine. It looks gorgeous on my bed. Very pleased...
I needed something extra for added warmth for the cold winter and this product helped meet my expectation. Caution as always with anything the picture. On a scale of 1-10 with the picture looking like the actual with 10 being exact, I would give it a 4. My quilt is dark hunter green. The picture would have you believe it is lighter hunter green. Other colors are probably off just as much. Overall so, so but for the price which also comes out to be more expensive than shown is not up to par.
I just picked this bedspread up on Friday at the site-to-store at the Walmart in my town. On the website, the green color looks like a very beautiful brilliant shade of green. Upon putting it on my bed, I was very disappointed, as it was a sort of a dull, dark, evergreen-bluish color. I had intended to get the purple one, but waited too long in purchasing it, as there were no longer any left. It looks like it would be fairly warm, but just couldn't cope with the color. So, I am returning it to the store this week.
